Hello, we found the venue very quiet and lovely surroundings. Main points was trying to find in the dark was not east because of direction we come from, only water and not sparkling was on the taps and the bed was in two parts which had a gap in the middle which made a dip in the bed. However the venue was very good, perfect place to get away and would go again. This is constructive feedback and not a negative and we would recommend this venue as a get away. Thank you

We were visiting family, didn't see much of the town.

We were visiting family, didn't see much of the town. Car parking is low cost compared with our home area, and the machines added the parking time with each coin inserted - a system that would be welcomed everywhere.

Shower in room wouldn’t turn off so had to listen to dripping water all night. Wind howled through balcony door and under entrance door so unable to sleep. When spoke to reception following morning we were thanked for our comments and told there is a knack to turning off the shower! Perhaps we could have been told on arrival.

Good position for exploring the surrounding area. We were celebrating our anniversary. Out walking during the day then discovering the pubs and taverns in the evening. Meeting the locals etc. A very friendly place

A lovely location for a mixture of reasons - a good tranquil location for those that want peace and quiet and privacy, but also a good base for getting out and about across north wales and beyond. Whitchurch as a town is ok and has some good eating places.

The apartment was immaculate in cleanliness, design, and amenities. The hostess was pleasant, available but left us to do as we wanted. The patio was lovely and only fields were visible at the back. A small single lane leads to the properties, but the distance is short and we met no one else on our drives in and out. While it feels like you are in the middle of no where, in fact Whitchurch, a lovely town, is only four miles away. This is a spot we will return to happily. Kudos to the owner who should share more photos of this lovely spot!

A truly personal touch from James and family. Flexible and responsive. Nothing too much trouble and so much attention to detail; Hot tub prepared and ready for our return at night, fresh wood in the fire pit, marshmallows for toasting, bubbly in the fridge. Seamless and memorable. We dined at a superb restaurant in Whitchurch and had the most delightful end to the day at the lodge.

We had just flown into England to stay one night before moving to a narrow boat for our vacation. We needed a place to leave our luggage for a few hours. Rueben's Rooms graciously let us stow everything in a downstairs toilet making it possible for us to explore Whitchurch and to shop for the groceries we needed to bring on the narrow boat. We really appreciate the kindness.

Beautifully restored and maintained compact house in a central location. The property is immaculately clean inside. Whitchurch is an attractive little market town with interesting shops. We had a very good meal at the pub next door. We were attending a wedding, and the owner Emma was helpful and prompt in replying to queries about taxis etc.

No breakfast, but coffee/tea & snacks (granola bars, fresh fruit, etc.) available. Great breakfast available right across the street. The rooms were perfectly adequate and centrally located for our one night stay. Clean and generally well-maintained. And Whitchurch is a charming little town.

The location was close to the town centre and therefore very convenient . There was also free parking at the hotel which was good. The room was small but reasonably clean and the bed comfortable. There was also complimentary bottled water in the fridge and tea/coffee making facilities.

Stunning location, really peaceful. Gorgeous room and view. Lovely bed linen and pillows, very comfortable bed. I think this was the best hotel bed I have ever slept in! Lots of nice little extras like cake, fresh milk on arrival, etc. Very helpful staff. Delicious and generous breakfast.

I had my hotel booking cancelled late and had to find somewhere else. Luckily I found this gem of a place on quiet location more near to the golf course my son was playing. The owners were fantastic and so friendly! Nice cosy place with all you need for your stay.

The staff were always friendly and attentive, both at reception, bar and dining room. The hotel was a 20 minute walk to town and I'm sure, if you were a golfer ( which we were not) it ticked all the boxes. We were there for a wedding locally.

Great location and good pool. Staff trying hard but they can’t seem to cope when the hotel is full and there isn’t enough room for everyone staying. Bar poorly laid out and restaurant is a cramped smallish room with zero atmosphere.
