I only stayed one night at the Elgano guesthouse and despite arriving unannounced early in the morning was welcomed very warmly by the staff, who offered me to check in earlier (which I declined since I had an appointment). They were also kind enough to keep my luggage until I came to check-in later that day. The room itself was beautiful, very clean, with a spacious bathroom and enough space to store my belongings. The guesthouse does not have an elevator which makes it less suitable for people with impaired mobility. To everyone else I would highly recommend a stay!

Located on Cathedral Road, the Elgano Guest House offers stylish rooms with free WiFi. Cardiff centre and the Millennium Stadium are a 15-minute walk away. Just 2 minutes’ walk from the Sophia Gardens and Bute Park, Elgano Guest House is a 15-minute walk from Cardiff Castle. The Queens Arcade and St David’s Shopping Centre are just over a mile away.

Located on Cathedral Road in the heart of Pontcanna, the Elgano Guest house offers a comfortable stay, stylish rooms with free WiFi. For directly booking only there is a free secure car park available on request. there is an authentic Italian Restaurant on the groun floor, if you wish to dine there you need to make a separate booking for it. Their colorful rooms each have a flat-screen TV, tea and coffee making facilities &amp; simple storage. All rooms have an en suite modern bathroom with a power shower, heated towel rails and a hairdryer. The location is just 2 minutes’ walk from Sophia Gardens and Bute Park, a 15-minute walk from Cardiff Castle, and the Queens Arcade and St David’s Shopping Centre are just over a mile away.

The Hotel is situated on Cathedral road in the heart of very popular Pontcanna, recently voted as one of the 30 most fashionable places to live in the UK. We have the vast Bute Park behind us which forms the heart of the city and backs onto the Castle grounds, perfect for walks and picnics. The city centre is less than a 15 minute walk with its array of shops, restaurants,theatres, bars and night life, or catch the local water taxi to the historical yet modern Cardiff Bay!
