Met by host, explained everything clearly. Comfy bed and a very quiet location. Felt safe and secure. Gorgeous surroundings and simple to find. Apartment was very clean and some lovely little extras on arrival. Not a negative at all, but would have liked a bin for recycling and maybe a device/radio as I like music during the day. But I used my phone and great WiFi, so not a huge inconvenience.

Neighbourhood information

Situated in the country, countryside lodge is a stone throw away from The Nene Washes, where some rare birds have been spotted. A popular area for fishing with some great lakes only a minutes drive away. Also ideal for walking and cycling and dog walking. Close to Peterborough & Ely cathedrals, and Flag Fen archaeological site is only a 10 min drive away. Bus stop is in the village which can take you to March or Peterborough, or take the the train at Whittlesey train station.
