Corwen as a location is good for North Wales. Hotel is on the main A5 which is very busy and noisy, which would be fine if the windows were double glazed! Towels and bed were clean. Breakfast was adequate (but had to ask for more eggs and toast)

Re. breakfast Q: We self catered - and enjoyed the eggs, thankyou!;
RE. location Q: Lovely location, and peaceful;
Also liked: Ease and flexibility of checking in and out; Bike storage available; Even though we never got to meet Grace (as she was away), I really appreciated her very friendly and helpful manner throughout all our communications. All was very good :)).

The hotel exceeded our expectations: incredibly stylish with the charming ambience of an old guesthouse, yet fully renovated and impeccably clean. The view from the windows was amazing! We occupied a spacious family room on the top floor, which was exceptionally comfortable. The beds were large and comfy, adorned with pristine white and soft linens. The room was equipped with all the amenities one would expect from a large chain hotel only. The breakfast, included in the rate, offered a diverse selection: crepes, poached eggs on toast, even a full English breakfast etc. The high quality of the tableware and beds, the presence of small decorative accents throughout, impeccable cleanliness in every area, and the overall state of the hotel showcase the owner's welcoming hospitality and his exceptional professionalism in the industry! We look forward to staying there again on our next trip to North Wales.

Lovely little place in the middle of nowhere. Nice views, wildlife and the hut itself was lovely and clean. Had everything you would need and it's actually bigger inside than it looks on the pictures. Hosts were helpful

Waking up to beautiful peacocks in your garden was a joy. Cosy Cottage was perfect with its piping hot showers and comfortable bed. The furniture is lovely and the kitchen was well equipped. Everything was perfect and a night spent listening to ghost stories by candle light was topped off with the company of Tiggy the cat.

Myself, partner and Labrador stayed at Evelyn’s retreat for three nights.
Perfect location for walking along the Llangollen canal.
Lovely picturesque area, along the historic route through Llangollen.
Great snacks, meals and drinks, and dog friendly at the corn mill in Llangollen, situated, next to the river Dee…
The cabin with hot tub at Evelyn’s retreat in a lovely spot, again perfect with our dog.
Lovely designed lodge, comfortable and welcoming, with everything we needed.
Definitely would recommend…

Llangollen has a range of dog friendly restaurants. We ate at the m’Eating Place which we found to be homely and friendly , but we were spoiled for choice.

Lovely surrounding area with beautiful scenery and plenty of interesting places to visit.
The town itself is a bit run-down and doesn't have much to offer in the evening as regards dining. There are plenty of very good restaurants and pubs in the surrounding area and nearby villages though.

It was in a good location for roving the area and peaceful. There were plenty of eating options on foot or by car ranging from pub to chef.
The Llangollen railway line has a stop there.
If you are looking for a particular place the PO sorting office is very helpful.
The staff were welcoming and friendly. The location is great for visiting North Wales.
The restaurant food is better than expected. There has been mention of small portions, but in this day and age of wastage and over indulgence, we found them acceptable. The price was on the high side however.
Lots of parking and the hotel has benefited from redecoration.
The building is very old so does come with the usual quirks of uneven floors, low doorways, and peeling paint in places.
Wow , this is a lovely homely style hotel , it didn’t feel like a hotel , it was so homely… its spotlessly clean , the bed was so comfy I didn’t want to get up lol , the rooms were immaculate, the breakfast was brilliant too , I was really stuffed after it , the hostess was really lovely too , 1000% recommend this hotel , either as a base for further travels deeper into Wales , or just a chilled out weekend …
The Court House is located in the lovely village of Corwen, which was a great jumping off point for our trip. We found the hosts and locals to be incredibly friendly; Caroline was welcoming and showed us around the place on our arrival as well as offering plenty of info at the property on the surroundings and local amenities. The house was very neat and tidy and I wouldn't hesitate to stay again.
What a lovely little cottage! Just enough room for the three of us and the dog, a great location both to explore North Wales in the day and to relax and enjoy the stars in the evening. (We live in the city so forgotten just how dark the night could be) The cottage was well appointed, clean and nicely decorated. Amazing views.
Don't judge a book by it's cover. The rooms,whilst quirky and individual, were spotless and had every everything you'd need. But best of all, Carmen went out of her way to make us feel welcome. How often does a hotel allow you to bring in a takeaway and use their facilities, cutlery and crockery? The Crown did.
The beds were comfortable, there was two TV's,one in each room which was brilliant and the added large fans in both rooms was a much appreciated extra. The continental breakfast was great and set out well so our children could help themselves. The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly.
Location, location, location! A beautiful cottage away from everything, but still within minutes of the village of Cormen. Well located to visit the snowdonia national park, and the historic sites in the north of Wales. If quiet solitude is what you’re looking for, then this is the place.
We had a lovely stay at Belinda's property. She was extremely welcoming and helpful. The facilities and location were second to none and we will definitely be revisiting in the future. The kitchen was well stocked with lots of extra goodies and the bathroom was like a five star hotel.
We felt very at home there. Nick was very accommodating and helpful giving us ideas about how to make the most of our stay. The children really enjoyed the football table. It was right in the heart of Corwen so we could benefit fully without the weather holding us back.
There was everything we loved about our stay at John's hotel. It was a pleasure to book a room in your hotel and we would like to visit you once again. Thank you for being our hosts.🌞❤️
A massive thank you to Carmen and Coco too ;) ❤️
Very spacious, well equipped, well planned out property, peaceful, relaxing.
We had a great weekend getaway.
Take the trip via steam train from Corwen, well worth the 5 min drive to the station.
Lots to do in and around the area.
Location was superb and the hotel was very comfortable and had beautiful grounds. The staff were very helpful and polite and the service excellent. The food was absolutely superb and exceeded all our expectations.
