    Fabulous independent shops and boutiques.

Fabulous independent shops and boutiques. Lots of cafes, pubs and restaurants, lots of choice. Everyone was so friendly! Highly recommend Nip and Cluck for Sunday lunch, it was the best I have EVER had! Beach/ harbour is so interesting and varied.

Whitstable is lovely although the hotel we stayed at isabove the Tankerton slopes that lead down to the beach at Tankerton. The beach is pebbles but clean. The town of whitstable is quaint with small independent shops. There is an excellent fish snd chip shop in the town Jones, although that is closing down soon. Plenty of lovely restaurants and coffee shops.

This was an extremely short trip so we could only sample a bit of the town but we loved it. Lots of individual shops, cafes and restaurants. Interesting pubs and a small but fascinating museum. Also managed to have a look round the Harbour too. Had a drink at the Twelve Taps - that offer a tasting board of 3 x small beers. And found a fish and chip shop with attached restaurant that did gluten-free fish and chips.

    Autumn visit

Autumn visit Lovely small seaside town interesting harbour area, great unique historical properties. Interesting high street lots of small specialty shops. Great walks along beach with local cafes and restaurants. Street parking not always easy down narrow residential roads. Not so bad off season but imagine high season parking very busy in the town

Tankerton side of Whitstable more beach friendly but Whitstable town so clean and full of individual welcoming shops and hospitality venues. Loved The Quayside Whitstable for drinks with the locals and bit of live (and really rather good) music, Land and Sea in Tankerton for delicious, fabulous food with wonderful service, The Bubble for joyful post wedding grazing plate lunch overlooking the sea - as ever its all about the people and especially those in the hospitality business, we are so naturally committed and professional in the UK and should be super proud of what we offer.

Lots to see, with quirky little shops and pubs, restaurants and win bar, with a lovely Tea Room. The seafront is beautiful and clean with lovely views over the estray with plenty to see and do, lots of places to eat, I would highly recommend Whitstable to anyone.

What a hidden gem… On arrival we were met by Anna who was friendly and welcomed us to the Suite. 5 star boutique hotel facilities, power shower, luxurious fluffy bathrobes and the finest bed linen, really comfortable bed, newly refurbished and immaculately clean. Breakfast was absolutely delicious and a fantastic choice. Beautifully sea views and attention to every detail. I can’t recommend highly enough. Thank you so much, will be back for longer next time ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I booked a very last minute overnight stay and couldn’t believe this amazing find. The whole hotel is stunning, beautifully decorated and with a gorgeous outside space with unparalleled views over Whitstable Bay. I had calamari and sea bass for dinner which was incredibly fresh and expertly cooked. Staff were attentive and friendly at all times. My room was exquisite with a super comfortable bed and stylish bathroom Can’t wait to go back!

Such an amazing find, our lovely host picked us from the train station when we arrived, then on the day we left brought our bags to the station so that we didn't have to carry them around and could spend a bit longer wandering around Whitstable. The property is so comfortable, everything you need and tastefully decorated with some lovely stylish touches. Loved this place and would be my first choice for a stay next time I'm in the area!

The B&B was very comfortable and clean with Sue being a wonderful host. The cooked breakfast’s were very good and Sue would find an alternative if you wanted something different. Parking is very difficult in Whitstable but the hotel has access to a couple of parking spaces round the corner which is very useful and included in the cost. The bed was very comfortable and we had a good night’s sleep every night.

My husband and I really enjoyed our trip to Whitstable staying in this beautiful self contained apartment, which was super clean, well furnished and kitted out to a very high standard. Vanessa & Gary had thought of everything to make the property work on all levels, even leaving gifts of wine, milk and chocolates! The property, a short 5 minute walk into town, has a parking space too! Highly recommended.

Fabulous location- Check in was ok, just check in hotel continental and parking was an easy 5-10 minute walk. (For those complaining, at least you don't have to pay extra for parking!) The room was clean and bright, and in the best little location. You can hear the other guests, but not annoyingly so. Really enjoyed it, and for the price, location and room quality i would stay again!

We absolutely loved everything - the hotel is in a beautiful location on Tankerton slopes, overlooking the sea, and the room we stayed in was lovely (wasn't the sea view, but we didn't mind)! The breakfast was delicious, and we also received a birthday gift - a free drink for each of us! We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!

Very clean and neat. Well equipped. Excellent location. Very good to have parking space included, and that the parking was available for an hour before and an hour after check in / check out. The staff at the Hotel Continental (where we had to go to check in and collect our key card) were so so lovely!

The hut was just so sweet. The little cafe cabin a few yards away totally saved the day with great fish and chips for dinner and great coffee in the morning. We stayed one night, had brilliant sunshine and that was just enough. Oh and the Hotel Continental did a huge scone and pot of tea.

The location was incredible, so close to the sea and to the high street with restaurants and shops. The Warehouse Cottages were modern and spotlessly clean with character and interesting features. For those who drive, they also had a parking space available, including EV chargepoint
