Tan Y Cytiau, hotel in Trearddur

Featuring a garden, South Stack Coastal Retreats is set in Holyhead. Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a sun terrace.

A very cosy apartment with comfortable, big bed, lovely bedding, nice sitting room with open fire, great garden/sea view. The kitchen is well equipped, the shower is good, hot and powerful, however the cabin is a bit small. Please note that the breakfast is NOT included even though it says so on the booking, the owner explained that he's trying to sort it out.. also I couldn't see any hairdryer so if you need one bring it with you :) overall a great weekend stay.

Location beside beach with free parking at hotel.

Location beside beach with free parking at hotel. Hotel is attractive with good restaurants. In summer the beach is one of the best. Two bars/restaurants beside the beach are very good. Out of season the hotel is still worth a visit for local walks but there is not much else to do in Trearddur.

Things I liked best - the breakfast at the Motel, choice of restaurants and takeaways nearby. Holyhead was a lovely day trip. The shops were a five minute drive away, a little longer if you too the scenic route!

    Great for kids!

Great for kids! Playground opposite the RNLI station is good for various ages. The sea shanty restaurant is fabulous. The beach is brilliant for beach combing and various activities. We love it so much here and come back to make memories most years. Ample parking and the toilet block has now been refurbished. There's a convenience store for most things you'd need.

Large sized rooms. The staff were very friendly. The food in the restaurant was good value. While it's not high end gastropub food, the quality and price feels like very good value. We mistakenly ordered a meal and due to our dietary constraints, the waiter and kitchen took the initiative to accomodate this request and still give us great food. This was highly appreciated. Also the breakfast was good. It's located in Holyhead and easy to access the motorway

What can we say. Superb from start to finish. Deryn was very informative throughout. She was incredibly pleasant and would help with anything we needed. The location was incredible. With a short stroll down to Trearddur Bay, it was easily accessible and ideal for the beach and restaurants. The views are incredible from the apartment. We couldn't have been happier. Thanks for the chocolate and Prosecco, too. We will be back.

The apartment was very spacious and clean. It had everything we needed with regards kitchen utensils etc. Very comfortable beds and a nice open plan layout. Great sea views. It is perfectly situated, just a short walk to Trearddur bay, with plenty of little coves right on your door step. The area is nice and quite but everything is easily accessible. We had a lovely relaxing week there. Highly recommended.

My family needed a location in HolyHead that could accommodate 14 people for a small memorial gathering honoring the life of my parents. Making arrangements from here in the USA was a challenge, the staff at the Trearrdur was outstanding, they were engaged, responsive, and extremely helpful. Once we arrived the staff on site was always available and the room they provided us was set up beautifully.

Great location close to Holyhead which we appreciated as we arrived on a late ferry and the Beach Motel was very convenient. Clean, comfortable, safe parking, great value for money- this is the second time we have used the Beach Motel when coming into Wales on the midnight ferry. Highly recommend.

location was amazing with a great sea view. very homely and old-fashioned comforting feel to the hotel. Very up to date and the nautical feel of the hotel but retaining some original charm, really worked. The tables in the restaurant where very comfortable and nicely spaced out.

Third time stay, love the place, must be one of the best locations in Trearddur Bay & value for money. Cud do with a little TLC in places but the views from the lounge & bedroom are so dramatic it more than compensates. The facilities are spot on, very comprehensive.
