The trim, the view, the surroundings were all perfect. It was extreme private which was lovely for a romantic getaway. We wished we could have stayed longer then the one night, and definitely regret not booking the spa, I will definitely be back and booking the spa to go with it

Close to the train station. Abt 4 mins. Then abt 25min walk to The Baths Hall Theatre. Near to a Wetherspoons pub on the way. Called the Blue Bell Inn. Lovely food & staff. Great place. Heater in the room. Plenty of buses. Near a great museum.

This is not a place to go for a pleasure trip.
This is not a place to go for a pleasure trip. We went to the Baths Hall to see a ballet and we were surprised how good the venue was. We had been a little worried as to what it would be like but we wanted to go to the ballet so took a chance! We would go to that venue again. We had dinner at The Imperial Palace Cantonese restaurant near the Baths Hall and the meal was plentiful and good. I would suggest that there is little of real interest to see in Scunthorpe.

I am originally from the Scunthorpe area (now live in West Yorks), so I am a little biased in praising it, especially as Scunthorpe is always the butt of jokes, it's not actually a bad place to stay/Live. Normanby Hall is worth a visit, and the small village of Alkborough which is 10 miles away which overlooks the Ouse and Humber and has an original Labyrinth and a cafe is worth a visit. The Humber Bridge isnt far away and also worth a visit. Scunthorpe Baths has bands/dances/turns on. There are also plenty of bars and a Wetherspoons
Hotel about 4 mins walk from the train station. Bed was comfortable & clean Towels were soft & hair & shower gel were good. Coat hangers were mixed plastic & metal, but easy to get off the rail instead of security ones. Tea & coffee satchets were ok. Good drinking mugs. There was an electric heater in the room should i have needed it. Hairdryer worked.
Beautiful room with the most amazing copper tub! We loved the spa (the milk bath was a very fun experience) and the breakfast was generous. The house and gardens were beyond expectations. We even had a great night sleep - so peaceful outside of town. Hope to come back soon!
The accomodation was very well setup for people visiting the area for work. Easy parking, good kitchen and shower facilities. Pretty basic but that's all you need for a work trip. Convenient for central Scunthorpe if you wanted to go to any local pubs/shops.
Location great fir visiting family and activities in centre of Scunthorpe town.
Clean room, staff friendly.
Although there is no cooked breakfast the choice of continental breakfast is vast and delivered to your door at your requested time!
Lovely room. Clean and comfortable. Homely atmosphere. Tastefully decorated.
Yvette the owner is friendly and helpful.
When I travel to Scunthorpe on business Larchwood is the only hotel I stay at. I have never been disappointed.
Close to Baths Hall where our show was.
Parking spot outside our window.
Nice and clean room and friendly staff.
Good to have a full fridge, microwave and kettle in our room and the option of using the full kitchen if needed.
Clean room, comfy bed, perfect location for where I needed to be in Scunthorpe. Usually no staff however someone working helped direct me to my door when I went the wrong way. Code locks work well!
Easy check in. The room was clean and tidy with clean towels and toiletries. Easy access to town centre. We parked in the carpark directly infront of the hotel with free parking from 6pm till 8am.
Lovely big bedroom and bathroom, far exceeded expectations. Can't comment on the breakfast as we didn't bother with it, our choice and no reflection on the hotel.
Need saucepans and updated toilet roll also towels also full big breakfast.... expand price hotel ...less refunds
