Situated on a quiet tree-lined street, less than 10 minutes' walk from Kings Cross St Pancras Station, and similarly the delights of Islington's Upper Street, this flat is perfectly located for a short (or not-so-short) visit to London. History buffs might be interested to note that Vladimir Ilyich Ulyanov (more commonly known by his alias, "Lenin") lived just around the corner whilst helping to mastermind the Russian Revolution... My place is comfortable rather than "flashy", and I aim to provide a welcoming 'home-from-home' stay for all guests. The apartment consists of 3 bedrooms (a large bedroom in the loft, one double bedroom with ensuite, and one small double bedroom), family bathroom (shared by the large and small bedrooms), large lounge, all mod cons (cable tv & wifi included), a large fully-fitted kitchen, and a rear garden. Rooms are available individually, with a 7% discount if you book any two, 10% if you book all three (in which case, you'll have the place to yourself; it can accommodate up to 8 people, if two use the sofas in the lounge - they are not sofa-beds, but are large/comfortable enough to sleep on for a few nights)
I've been hosting (here and on 'that' other site) for several years now, and the feedback from guests has (with the odd exception) has been incredibly positive; please read the reviews on here, and the 'post-its' on the Kitchen walls (beats your average Guestbook!) Feel free to ask any questions before you book - and please contact me BEFORE booking if you want the multi-room discount (otherwise you won't get it!)
I've lived here for over 15 years now, and love the area. Kings' Cross St Pancras is the most-connected tube station (as well as boasting the Eurostar... and the longest champagne bar in Europe - just saying!); Russell Square (for the British Museum), St Paul's Cathedral, and a number of other tourist spots are also within walking distance. Upper Street has one of the most extensive selection of restaurants in London and, for nightlife, nearby Shoreditch/Hoxton is the 'place to be' for the young (and young-at-heart).
