Rare in Cassis: in a privileged area, a garden level apartment in a villa built by an architect who was a pupil of Le Corbusier, on the countryside, peaceful, clear view of the vineyards," Cap Canaille" and the "Massif des Calanques", vast private garden (400 m2) and private parking, 10 min (gentle slope!) walking distance from the centre of Cassis, from the harbour and the beach, direct access to the "roads of Crête"s, 30 min walk from the first Calanque! Apartment for 2 adults and 2 children. wifi. Advantages of this place: 1. The garden : table and benches for eating outside, in the shadow of a large sunshade, under trees, with view to wineyards, Calanques massif and Cap Canaille. In a Sofa or the hammock, you will enjoy the calm, while children will enjoy the outdoor games (garden house, playground slide, swing ...); Please note that the garden is no longer watered and can be very dry in summer. 2. The proximity of the center of the village, so you can walk up to the beach, shops, restaurants or other proposed activities in 10 minutes. Two bikes available for you (basic mountain bikes). 3. A private parking place right outside the apartment avoiding the concern to park his car in Cassis. There is a mobile air conditioner in the main room. The small bedroom has an interior window and the only way to access it is through the bedroom with the double bed.
We had the chance to settle in Cassis about fifteen years ago. When acquiring our house -which is ideally located in the Cassis countryside while being 10 minutes walk from the center of Cassis and the beach- we wanted to share this chance with holidaymakers, French and foreign, and give you the opportunity to make the most of our beautiful region. Your holiday is very important for me, and I will be happy to welcome you, explain to you many things -such as good adresses to eat or have a drink, where are the shops, markets, restaurants, our favorite escapades, where to swim, how to access "the calanques", tips to run, climb, ride bikes, go hiking, nice villages to visit, what to do with children, or when the weather is not nice- and give you tips so that your stay will be a wonderful one, and of course answer all your questions! Do not hesitate to come by train or plane. Indeed once installed no car is necessary during your stay as all the shops, restaurants, beaches, Calanques and activities are accessible by foot, and most of the things you might need (for example for little children) are available in the apartment. I am looking forward to meeting you !
Cassis: Between sea and vineyards, between cliffs and creeks (calanques), Cassis is a beautiful and lively village. Everything in Cassis is within walking distance: the beach, the port, the full of charm narrow streets, a beautiful playground for children in the center of the village, many shops (including grocery, bakery), market every Wednesday and Friday; enjoy in one of the many restaurants specialties from Provence (La Bouillabaisse, fish soup, the Aioli) accompanied by a glass of local white wine. A museum, a cinema, numerous water and land sports and cultural activities, nothing is missing! Cassis is mainly famous for its creeks (Calanques), among the most beautiful in the world. You can discover them either by walking or by boat from the port of Cassis. Cassis has received the Blue Flag label for the quality of its waters over the past six years.
