4th floor has been newly renovated, room was very nice, if spartan (no decor.) Bathroom was large and bright. The indoor/outdoor bar and restaurant are a nice addition (I’ve stayed here before, prior to restoration.)
Offering free WiFi, Hotel de Berne is located in Nice’s city center. Gare Thiers Tramway Station is just 164 feet away and Nice Etoile Shopping Center is 1640 feet from the hotel.

The hotel is situated in an absolutely stunningly beautiful area, but I would advise staying in a different hotel. Apart from the shock of my bag going missing post room servicing, the room itself was dated, basic and had no fridge, or even any tea or coffee making facilities.
Breakfast was OK if you got into the dining room early. However, post 9.15am the room resembled a chaotic rolling maul with basic items not being replenished. At one point there were no clean knives or plates available , and the scrambled eggs, bacon, fruit cake, cheese and even croissants had all run out.

The property could really do with an update as most of the furnishings and equipment are well past their usage dates!
The walls are paper thin as are the floors, at one point we thought there was a removal firm in every morning as the dipstick above us insisted on moving/dragging the furniture around every morning from around 6am!!
You could here voices and footsteps all around, especially in the evening and early morning, no good if you like a holiday lie-in either!
Such a pity as this could be a fantastic place instead of just a good place, let's see if management take heed of these and other comments in their reviews!
An all-round update would take this up a star quite easily as they have great staff and surroundings sadly let down by outdated furniture and fittings.
I will keep an eye on this to see what happens!
Eating places around a comfortable 10 minute walk away with fantastic sea views not to be missed!
Although this is quite a hilly area and may not be suitable for everyone unless of a reasonable fitness, not the hotel's problem, but should be noted when booking.

Beautiful place.
Beautiful place. We were only there for two days but we would have like to stay there a bit longer to relax on the beaches. The water is crystal clear and the houses/streets are lovely to walk around.

The most beautiful and picturesque place on the French Riviera that we visited. Very romantic and 20 minutes from Nice. Great place to make as your base as you explore all of the surrounding towns and cities.

Stunning location, great swimming spot and very relaxed vibe.
If you want to unwind and totally relax with great weather at a stunning location this is your place. Even though Cap Ferrat is obviously home to some very high brow folk the place exudes a very relaxed, genuine vibe. We found that you can have whatever holiday you would like here. If you want to have a luxury holiday or just a nice weekend both are possible on all budgets

For the location and facilities was a good option.
For the location and facilities was a good option.
It's not a 5 star hotel experience, as per the staff - the brand is to give people who are not top earners an option to stay in a great locations at an affordable rate.
The bathrooms were a bit moldy on the ceilings and curtains a bit dirty.
Driving in the area requires nerves of steel on the tiny roads.

The location of this hotel is out of this world! Seaside and the most gorgeous, small Harbour views of St Jean. It takes my breath away whenever I open the balcony doors of my room. The beach club with pool and access to the sea is not too crowded, has a great restaurant and is a hidden gem. The large terrace for breakfast is also a treat for the soul. The food and the decor need some freshening up … but this hotel is still a treat! Sadly it will close for renovations soon and will remain closed for 3 years.
The rooms were large for a family, so plenty of space, apart from the bathroom. The grounds and position are lovely, I especially liked the rabbits the Hotel have placed munching on the grass. Pool lovely and nice to see it being cleaned every day. Security was good with the Hotel being gated. Breakfast was nice on the terrace overlooking the sea. The member of staff who met us on reception was very helpful and nice. Overall a good experience.
Everything was IMMACULATE! Attention to details, customer service, cleanliness, territory, restaurant, room service! Four Seasons employees went above and beyond and exceeded all our expectations. (The most comfortable beds and Diptyque products- special thank you!)
If you have a chance to stay here -do not hesitate for a moment! This hotel will give you a true impression about Côte d’Azur. A real fairytale! Thank you!
This is a wonderfully located hotel and excellent value for what’s around you. The gardens are peaceful and well kept. The access to the walk around Cap Ferrat is amazing and I cannot think of a better place to stay if you like walking along the coast with breathtaking views. We didn’t use any of the dining facilities but enjoyed coffees from the outdoor hut.
The location overlooking the marina, town and bay at Cap Ferrat could not be better. The hotel is classy and has a boutique feel to it. The facilities are 'old school' but have been well maintained. The room we used had views over the marina and town and was of a good size and quality.
Amazing location with beautiful views. Close to beaches and centre of Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat. Proximity to Villa Ephrussi Rothschild means taxi drivers know exactly where to take you. But the number 15 bus is right on the doorstep and perfect for a 20-min ride into Nice.
We had a beautiful apartment in a perfect location. Short walking distance to swimming at several beaches snd restaurants. Underground parking is only suitable for compact cars and SUVs but there are two above ground spaces and there is street parking.
It is a nice hotel in a luxurious location with great views and steps from the beach. A gem! parking on a site, spacious room, hotel grounds are nice and green. Our dog enjoyed it too.
Loved the pool and ability to walk to the town/beach from the hotel. The breakfast in the morning was also good and convenient. The hotel felt intimate and cozy.
