Cafe culture, beautiful views, charming and vibrant town sq with weekly market. Tranquil. Too much to see in one day. Take a two hour electric hire boat with a picnic down the river. Eat Moules until you can't move and relax.

Charming place, especially the port.
Charming place, especially the port. No boats - while we were there -to St Malo because of the tides, as the river is tidal up to Dinan. The older part is almost traffic free. Fascinating shops, deli's, market on Thursday.

Loved Dinan, its so pretty , every street is pleasing to walk along, and has lots of attractions around the area. Plenty of great places to eat and drink or sit outside the cafe's and watch the world go by. St Malo is a 'must' to see, very similar to Dinan.

We only spent a day in Dinan as we were on our way home at the end of our holiday. Dinan is beautiful and worthy of a longer stay. We will definitely go back and spend more time there and in the area.

We only stayed two nights and didn't get a chance to fully explore but we liked what we saw. The apartment is in the Port area. It is really well equipped and the host was friendly and informative. A short walk away (but up a steep hill - so you deserve your first beer) is the medieval pedestrianized area of the town which has many bars and restaurants.
We plan to return another time.

Dinan was much better than we expected.
Dinan was much better than we expected. We only stayed one night on the way back to St Malo for our ferry home to the UK but I would have liked to spend another day. It’s a lovely town with beautiful old streets and interesting buildings.
Bruno was a most gracious and informative host. Without his suggestions we would have missed some truly wonderful side trips. The location of Ker Brunat is absolutely exceptional - - walking distance to everything we wanted to visit in Dinan, which made our stay extremely pleasant.
La Meffrais is a very tastefully presented property in an ideal location for visiting Dinan, especially the port (just 5 minutes away). Our room was decent, though a little cramped. There is ample parking on site. Super friendly hosts and an excellent breakfast provided for €10.
We really enjoyed our stay at this small, comfortable and very clean hotel. The location is excellent for the small railway station and walks into the historic town of Dinan, Everyone was very friendly and the continental breakfast buffet was delightful (especially the plums).
It’s very conveniently located near the motorway if you have a car. Lots of parking. Accommodating for our dog. Friendly and efficient staff. They were very quick to reply to us with any questions we had before arriving at the hotel. The bed was huge and very comfortable.
The hotel is owned and run by a young couple who could not be more helpful. They are friendly, attentive and maintain the hotel to a high standard of cleanliness. Very good value for money and located a short walk from the centre of Dinan. Highly recommended.
The staff were very accommodating, especially the man who checked us in who was excellent, and the waiter at dinner, who spoke good English, was very helpful, informative and personable. The dinner was also the best food we had eaten in France for 2 weeks!
It was a very comfortable apartment, well located only a short walk from Dinan’s exceptional historical center. Our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer - we were here three nights but the apartment would have worked well for a longer stay.
Location, location, location! Le Ty Rose was in a perfect spot for visiting the Old Town of Dinan and for visiting my son (which I grant won't be an issue for most people). The apartment was small but perfect for a short stay.
- nice and spacious rooms
- pool and jacuzzi
- location of the hotel in the old port of Dinan
-many restaurants and historic port are nearby
- food in the resturant is good
- 15 min by foot to the historic city center
The location is excellent, right in the historic part of Dinan. The hotel has spaces in a nearby underground garage, which is a great advantage. The staff is very friendly. We found the breakfast particularly good.
A fantastic apartment in the heart of old Dinan, ideally positioned for the walk into Dinan centre or the Port of Dinan. Ann-Kathrin is an amazing host and really looked after us on arrival and departure.
Modern hotel adjacent the 'old city' with lots of bars and restaurants nearby. Excellent room and bathroom. Best shower so far in France! Breakfast in the morning was excellent also. Staff very helpful
Great up and coming budget hotel in the centre of Dinan. Owner and staff very friendly with good sense of humour. Paid parking opposite. Plenty of character and quirky. Loved the continental breakfast
The hotel is very attractive, nicely decorated, the owners charming and location perfect. We will recommend it to our friends without reservation. We were very comfortable.
