We enjoyed staying at two Holiday Inn Expresses to stay...
We enjoyed staying at two Holiday Inn Expresses to stay close to the airport and one staying close to the St. Charles Train Station in Marseille. They were both well operated, and good for business and travelers. The St. Charles location could easily be a good location to get around Marseille. I am afraid I do not recommend the town which has trash issues. We did not find this anywhere else in France. The rail station had minimal seating, lots of trash all over the place and on the train lines. A great location for us and nice and clean.
A great location for us and nice and clean. We were disappointed to be placed in a handicapped room as neither of us is handicapped and we do not need that kind of facility, nor were we asked if we would like to stay in one. We find the "wet room" vs regular shower not to our liking which is our main negative. Plus, we would not want to deny any one who actually needed that facility which we were in and did not need. On the other hand, the breakfast area was open before 6 am which allowed us to have a quick breakfast before our shuttle was to pick us up for an early flight. The shuttle was on time and very helpful. All in all, good value but do need to work on room allocation satisfaction!!!JamesCanada - 10Scored 10

Convenient and comfortable place to stay close to Marseilles airport. Our room was clean and comfortable. Both the pool and the breakfast were excellent! The hotel shuttle bus was very efficient and picked us up from the airport and returned us promptly and pleasantly!

Our stay was on return from holiday before flying back home. The stop-over was excellent so chilled and relaxing, we ate at hotel buffet which was excellent with great choices evening and breakfast and good value. Our trip was short and unable to visit many places in area, but Hotel had numerous books and information on the area and Marseille.

we arrived at the hotel at night, the person who met us was aggressive, he did not tell us the password for Wi-Fi, the room did not match the photos indicated in the ad, it was dirty in the room and in the bathroom It was impossible to sleep. I do not recommend anyone to stay there!

A young man (Pierre, I hope I spelled right) picked up the call and asked where we were, on top of the intercom, it tells us we were at Terminal 2 intercom. He came less than 5 mins. We are so grateful for this because the shuttle bus stops at 11:30pm. Pierre is very friendly and helpful! The hotel is clean, comfortable bed, quite. We had a great night sleep.

It was alright, but the hassle was annoying especially traveling with kids. The facilities there were alright and the staff was quite friendly, especially the breakfast staff. What is annoying is that there is no transport (shuttle) to/from the hotel after midnight.
