After a spectacular drive over the mountains from the Auvergrne we arrived at the amazing L’Evidence. David was so welcoming, he said he didn’t speak much English but he certainly did. His recommendations of places to eat and visit were spot on! Our room exceeded our expectations with tea/coffee facilities, a comfortable bed and great shower. We had our own little seating area with breath-taking views of the mountains and forests. We enjoyed sundowners listening to a symphony of birds; it was wonderful to hear hear the constant call of the cuckoos and night jars, as we very rarely hear these now in the UK. The whole place breathes peace and calmness an unexpected eco- retreat. We would highly recommend a stay at L’Evidence and hope that we will return there again. Thank you David for sharing your dream.
