Offering a restaurant, Le Cancalais is located in Cancale. It provides free WiFi access. Each room includes a TV and a private bathroom with free toiletries.
This beautiful house, a former farm converted into a hotel, beyond the noise of downtown, is an ideal choice for visiting the Emerald Coast, Saint Malo and Mont St Michel.

The restaurant is absolutely terrific.. Superb dinner

Good town Centre with interesting small shops, everything close by. The seafront has excellent views of the sea , the Mont St Michel and the famous oyster beds. Oysters were everywhere ,tastyand reasonable priced, straight out of the sea. A delight.
One problem was lack of parking in the evenings close to the restaurants. The walk down from the upper town is 5 to 10 minutes if you are able bodied. Steep if old.
Lots of restaurants on the front ,some good value.
Overall a very enjoyable long weekend.

A very busy port with limited parking which was always full on the front regardless of the time of day. Great selection of restaurants at the port and small cafe/bars up the hill in town. Stunning church. Good market on a Thursday evening from 1730. Local produce and craft stalls. We were staying just out of town, a 15 minutes walk downhill to the port. On our second night we discovered the Tuk Tuk service from the front - 4 euros per person to our location, 2.50 back into town. Cancale is a good base for discovering that area ofr Brittany. Take the D155 along the bay, a lovely road with stunning views and a chance to sample oysters and mussels along the way.

Car Parking is available close by, but it can be a little expensive, if you drive down the promenade a little you can park your car for very much less, Worth knowing. for overnight or several Days of Stays, as the Hotels there do not in many cases have Car Parks, but it is a beautiful part of Normandie, you will love it. Do Eat at the Hotel Capellan de Mere. , the food there is superb and very reasonable. P.S. You can stay there and.
they have Sea View with Balcony Rooms available.

Lovely town with plenty of bars and restaurants, beautiful harbour to sit and eat the oyster and drink the champagne you can buy from the vendors. Lovely and friendly
We ate at Le Phare which was fantastic and have eaten at Chez Victor before that in another trip
Fabulous location on the seafront, lovely big room with good facilities. Parking can be tough but we parked in town and walked down to the port. We are in the restaurant and the fruits de mer was yummy, unfortunately the staff were quite rude, maybe just because they were busy however when we left to go to our room one waiter ran after us shouting that we needed to pay when we had already done that….pretty poor behaviour when we were staying the hotel. Would stay here again but probably not eat there.
Very nice appartment, located in the city center, right next to the restaurants and shops. The kitchen was well equipped (nice addition with the washing machine and dishwasher) and the rooms were spacious.
Paid parking is available across the street and free parking can be found 10 min away at departmental natural space of the cliff Houle.
The appartment had a little bit of an old house smell, but we kept the windows open and it was ok.
There were high quality bedding and towls available.
Exceptional hosts, kind and very caring of their clients. Particular attention to excellent service even with fewer personnel, truly wonderful! And location was superb! The Michelin star restaurant was also a superb plus as well as a table was provided tonus as hotel clients even though many were many clients waiting. Only slight downside is that it was very warm (perhaps unseasonably) AC would eventually be a nice addition, but windows open were enough of a solution for the time.
The room was small, but neat and clean, the bed comfortable. As so frequently in France, there was no wardrobe, but instead a hanger rack. The bathroom was very good. The manageress was extremely helpful in finding additional accommodation nearby for our daughter, who joined us unexpectedly together with our large dog!
As a secondary issue: the hotel restaurant prices are very high, nevertheless our opinion was that the quality of the food in our case made that OK.
From the moment we drove up we were in heaven. An idyllic setting. Beautiful landscaping, rolling hills, trees, horses, fountains; a lovely manorly house. Reception was exceptional. If you are staying in this area you must try to stay here. Only about 5 minute drive to Cancale, a lovely small oyster city!! Right on the waterfront....
Breakfast was also lovely.. An array of cheeses/meats/eggs/bread. Looking out on that fabulous landscape!
Great place to stay in Cancale. The rooms are spacious, new, clean and very well-designed. The breakfast is great with a lot of great choices both from the hostess and the local bakery. The hosts are very welcoming and friendly. Petite Emeraude is located fairly close to Cancale and not that far away from other great places (St Malo, Dinan and Mt St Michel), so it was a great base for exploring this part of Brittany.
Excellent evening meal, comfortable room, exceptionally helpful staff. We arrived in Cancale in the morning straight off the ferry at St Malo and were allowed breakfast at Le Cancalais that morning as well as the morning after our overnight stay (we had requested this in advance). Better still, we were then told that our room was available - we had expected only to be able to access it after 3 pm!
Very nice accommodation. Beautiful garden and patio. Very good location - a few minutes walk from the port of Cancale. Welcome hosts. Stylish breakfast in the family dining room.
The staff was warm and welcoming.
the beds were comfortable
the breakfast delicious
the pet friendly environment was nice
kind to English speakers
nice walk to Cancale
Location is great. I loved to wake up and see the ocean. The room is spacious with a big and confortable bed. The bathroom is also very specious with modern fixtures.
The location in Cancale was perfect, right at the beach. The owners were very communicative. It was the perfect size for my husband, myself, and our little dog.
