What a hidden gem. Nancy is a definite must see especially during the Christmas season. Lots of lights everywhere, things to do, neat little shops, and cool places to eat. So glad we stopped over for a couple of nights.

Loved the old town - lots of lovely old buildings and places to explore on foot - and by bus if you wish to travel further afield. The Staff in the Tourist Information Centre were very helpful (located in Place Stanislas) - we bought a City Pass which for us was good value for money. The Covered Food Market (fresh fruit, vegetables, meat, fish and cheese etc) was great and lots of small restaurants and eateries there open for lunch.
We particularly like the Art Nouveau buildings - there is a marked tour to help visitors locate them.
A great place to visit and stay and hope to return!

A highly interesting city with beautiful baroque architecture. Lots to do and see, art exhibitions and museums. Friendly people, very helpful. I wish we could have stayed longer, but the access to our accommodation was so bad, we left early. We have never ever done this before.

Nancy is a nice compact city with lots of interesting sights, lots of history and a huge amount of Art Nouveau. IF you want a change, visit the Viell Ville( old town)...The church with all the Dukes of Lorraine buried there is fantastic.
Musee D'Ecole Dr Nancy worth a visit! Buses are free on weekends.
Great little shops& plenty of sidewalk cafés to sit & relax with coffee or drinks.

We were planning to do a drive through Nancy on our way to Burgundy simply because my name is Nancy.
However, Nancy was a lovely surprise with one of the most beautiful main squares in Europe. There is a lot of green space around where you can rest while touring around. The tourist office offers 2 different audio tours that are very interesting & helpful to get a feel for the settlement and history of Nancy.
Hotel located just outside of Nancy. Easy access to highway and downtown was only a short 15 minute drive. Room was very nice and air conditioning a bonus as temps were in the mid 30's (90's). Hotel pool was a bit crowded, but to be expected with the hot weather. Nice outside terrace for drinks. Very good Wifi in the room and excellent shower. Bed large and comfy and room size very good. Mini-bar in room. There was some inside renovations going on, but nothing really negative. Lots of free parking all around the building.
This historic property, parts of which date back to the early 16th century, features less than 10 rooms in total. It offers comfortable stays in the historic kernel of Nancy within a 10-15 min walk to main sites such as the Place Stanislas. The breakfast is excellent, although at the moment it is all provided by a single person. ... There is also the need to reserve one of the two available parking spots well ahead of time, as otherwise this means going to the public parking, which happens to be close by and cheaper.
This was the best stay in our lives. Yannick, the owner, is so thoughtful and wonderful I don't even have words to describe. The bedroom is big and comfy, with a huge TV; the bathroom was spacious, impeccably clean and full of all possible items to use; and the breakfast, made by the owner, is better than most hotel's. We stayed only for one night in Nancy, but I felt we should spend more just because of the hotel.
It is the most conveniently located hotel! There’s a public parking lot just steps away (you can pay on the Easy Park app) and walk to all of the downtown restaurants and museums in the city center. I loved the kitchenette (microwave, stove top, dishes) for my last night, I just popped over to the tiny convenience store next door and bought some salad and microwave pasta for dinner. It was great!
Everything! Such a pretty place that one could call it home. It felt so good. It had enough or more of everything.
We love the whole apartment (even if we had to take the stairs to the 1st floor) with 2 real bedrooms, a pretty bathroom with separated toilet. Everything was comfy and worked marvelously.
The location was great in a quiet and safe district of Nancy and Art Nouveau area.
Secure parking. Large bed. This is a student residence but it was quiet. Don't expect a hotel but there's everything you need. 15m walk into Nancy centre. For breakfast, turn left outside and left at the next junction - halfway down on the right there's a super boulangerie called Cilla's. with good coffee/croissant/pain au raisin etc and great sandwiches when you leave for elsewhere.
The hotel is located in the center of Nancy in an old house with a Roman courtyard. A real immersion in the past. Nancy is old and young at the same time, I was struck by the multitude of young people. Nancy is a city of students. Walk 5 minutes to the central square. It is full of life until the night. Nice, caring hostess and not bad breakfast.
we had the honor to be their 1st booking.com guests. the place is beutifuly decorated with nice furniture and equipment. the beds are super comfi. the location is just minutes away from the heart of Nancy and the host is super friendly, kind and helpful. this property was one of the best places I have ever stayed in.!
The location is super simple due to its proximity to the railway station in Nancy. You could literally fall off the train and land in this hotel. Staff were always polite & tolerant of my attempted French. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was handy with a good range on offer.
The location was great - very close to the Gare and the city centre. The Hotel has abundant parking space.
The breakfast was also decent and reasonable. In addition, there are also snacks and drinks dispensing machines.
Basis the location, it was a great value for money.
Comfortable rooms and nice bathrooms. Lift up to the bedrooms. Ideally located for exploring Nancy. Very friendly staff, who helped us in with our luggage. Found a car parking space immediately outside the hotel. Restaurants nearby.
We had a great weekend in Nancy, with lots if history, Art Nouveau and fine dinners. The hotel is mice, perfectly located in historic building adjoint to the Cathedral. Very nice breakfast in a glass patio with friendly service.
We stayed at the hotel for a night stop over at Nancy. The location is great with available parking around the corner. The room was very spacious and the personnel welcoming. Value for money, nothing more or less.
Excellent modern hotel on the edge of Nancy - easy to reach from motorway. Good facilities - wonderful outdoor pool. Bar by the pool very convenient. Helpful staff.
the staff is very helpful and friendly. they have a kitchen you can use and they offer to help as much as they can. pretty good value of money for a one star hotel
