Sympathetic Art Nouveau house, home to Finnish favorite actor Tauno Palo as well in the early 20th century. The house underwent extensive renovation of the HVAC in 2018 and now the bathroom sparkles with its novelty. In addition to the double bed, the apartment has a sofa bed and a cozy loft where the smallest (in size not in age though) guest sleeps nicely. The apartment has a great ambience thanks to the height of the room (over 3 m), clever furnishings and harmonious color scheme. Occasionally, I go to myself to enjoy the atmosphere of the apartment with books, TV and cup of tea as well. NOTE! The construction of attic apartments is underway in the building, and later in the spring of 2024, the construction of an elevator in the corridor. The corridor may be dusty from time to time, otherwise the renovation will not cause much disturbance

Kallio has been a traditional blue collar area. In recent years, its street scene has developed fairly well and the restaurant range is rich and very high quality level for both vegetarians and steak eaters. Today, residents are mostly young academic adults or students. There is a Kallio sports house with a swimming pool (25m) and a gym next to Kirstinkatu. The adjacent Brahe Field creates an opportunity for skating in winter. Joggers and walkers can walk around the cozy Töölönlahti Bay. Welcome to see you on Kirstinkatu !!
