We travel a lot, really a lot. We use wide range of quality and price level hotels. I will not write about the hotel facilities. You can find it better or worse. I was inspired to write this opinion reading few extremely negative ones. Gosh! Is it really so bad?! The hotel is well managed. Rooms are spacious (our was 95 m2 (superior suite)) but even junior suites are huge - 65 m2. Food is fully acceptable and varied. Sparkling wine to the breakfast, free beer or wine and sangria. Yes, the quality is not on top but look at the price of your stay.
Reading negative opinions, I found something like 'my little baby has got a little belly pain next day after eating dinner in the restaurant', 'we arrived tired at midnight and check-in was too slow', 'the boiled egg for breakfast was barely lukewarm and it was only 10:00 AM' (breakfast is from 7:30 to 10:30), 'the floor in our room was outdated'. Folks! Floors in the Buckingham Palace are also outdated!
Set overlooking Caleta de Fuste Bay, Castillo San Jorge & Antigua is 1640 feet from the town center and Castillo Beach. It features outdoor pools and sports facilities.

Fuerteventura is a wonderful island, nature is virtually unspoiled and although being in a touristic place you have all the space and privacy that you like. At Caleta De Fuste we found a great beach, all required services and lots of dining opportunities at very affordable prices. Climate is almost perfect, wind helps to not feel the temperature even in the hottest days. In 40' driving you can reach most of the nicest beaches and attractions on the island.

Love it here, visited many times, not too noisy, Would even feel safe as a solo traveller. Pity there is quite a lot of empty unit’s & restaurants no longer in existence. Nice clean resort with regular buses to the capital.

The resort is quite close to the airport.
The resort is quite close to the airport. Taxis are well priced and usually available. The journey takes 10 to 15 minutes. There is a bus which will take you to the bus station in Caleta but there might be a fair walk to your accomodation and if you are up the hill it is long way to lug a suitcase.
I've been coming for over 30 years and I think the area has been developed well.
Check where you are booking your accomodation as some places are located up a steepish hill. There used to be a mini train to take people up the hill but it seems to have dissappeared.
There are numerous bars and restaurants serving all manner of food competitively priced. Children are well catered for all overthe resort.
If you want a bit more nightlife there are other resorts on the island that might suit you better.
I have 2 criticisms of the resort, the pavements and footpaths are not well thought out or executed. They are not maintained and trip hazards are everywhere. Smokers are ruining the area by discarding filter tips all over the place, they can be quite imaginative where they dispose of them. Nothing is done to prevent this, nor is any clean up inititive evident.

C de F has grown considerably since we were last there in 2006. It is continuing to grow with lots of building works in progress. The 4 Km promenade walk is great and lit at night. Plenty of restaurants and bars catering for all tastes and budgets. I would tend to avoid Feb as the NNE winds (Calima) are typically at their strongest and they can blow continuously for many days. The main beach is largely artificial sand but is well laid out, large and with a sheltered cove for swimming. (Lifeguards present)

I have been to Caleta De Fuste many times often staying for months at a time, first time back in 7 years, it seems to have gone down hill since then , maybe because of Covid who knows. Restaurants poor, seemed dirty.

I have been going to Caleta for 11 years, sometimes 3 times a year. I have stayed at 6 or 7 different places. I just left be the place. Everything is close to hand as I am 80 this year and my husband 88 next year that is a bonus. We loved The Jack but unfortunately that is to close again, plus Slap and Tickle, Millennium, The Lord Nelson, Saxaphone Bar, and Mac’s bar. We ate out most nights places we ate were Pizza below flower of Scotland and the one next door to millennium, the Chinese opp The British Corner, we ate there too, Trafalgar, Gory’s, Fun in the Sun, Wild West, Lnn’s, Nonna Lia and Bobby’s. Can’t wait till May to go back again.

Self catering, no breakfast, we love Villa Florida Apartment’s, stay regularly usually in a private apartment,
The apartment we stayed in from booking . Com was one of the older apartments that hasn’t been renovated, there were dirty marks on the sofa the door under the sink was hanging off, the shower curtain wasn’t fit for purpose, the floor wasn’t as clean as it should’ve been, however, it served its purpose
we were self catering. The cooking equipment was just what was needed plenty of pots and pans. Fridge has a really good sized freezer section. The host picked us from the airport much cheaper than taxi from airport. The bed was very comfy. Whilst we dont go away to watch to tele the, fact that we could get loads of British channels was great. the host had sun brollies and a stand by the pool too very useful
This was my third place of stay during this trip to Fuerteventura so I’m comparing them all.
Host was extremely nice and helpful, apartment itself is really well decorated and have everything for comfort living.
Another benefit was a good WiFi which was important as I was working during the stay.
Location is great as well, 5 min to shopping centre and 10 mins to main beach.
The property was absolutely perfect, exactly as in the photos and just a short drive to Caleta de Fuste. The host was very nice and friendly. The house is well equipped with everything you could possibly need for a self catering holiday, very clean, comfortable and has everything you need for a perfect holiday. View from the balcony was absolutely stunning, Thank you.
The property is in the short walking distance from the see side, shops and multiple local bars and restaurants.
It is very comfortable twin house with all required amenities, nice patio and swimming pool just across the fence.
Additionally Caleta de Fuste is centrally located town of the Island, making it great based for exploring local attractions.
Perfect location very close to the airport, few minutes to the beach, 100 mt from the pool, 200 mt from the supermarket, the balcony/little terrace is facing South so there's direct sunlight from morning to evening, the owner is very nice and helpful... absolutely perfect for all my needs, I'll book it again when I need some relax in Fuerteventura!
Amazing lovely and friendly staff with outstanding hospitality. Also the rooms are very nice/neat and always very clean because of the great roomservice.
The location of the hotel is situated perfectly near the beach, bars and restaurants. I will definitely come back if i’m in Caleta de Fuste again.
Wow what a place!! 10/10 all around. Staff, hotel, location, food. Nothing was too much trouble & the hotel was so clean & spacious. Checked in & received the best upgrade. Shopping mall 3 mins away. Would definitely recommend & will be coming back!!
The apartment was very clean, spacious and fully equipped with everything needed for self catering if that was what one desired. It was close to everything restaurants, bars shops and the beach. The apartments are very quiet and safe and are gated.
Breakfast was really good with many choices. Support of staff was excellent. Warm pool at Barcelo Mar hotel. Evening entertainment was very nice (in Barcello Castillo and Hotel Mar). Access to the beach and morning jogging is great.
The location is fantastic. The hotel is right on a wonderful beach and there are lots of restaurants and bars in walking distance. If you prefer to cook sometimes by yourself, there are three supermarkets within walking distance.
We have stayed here many many times which speaks for itself. The reception staff all through to housekeeping are lovely and helpful. The complex gardens are kept immaculate through Tony the gardener. The pool also is very clean.
Clean, fantastic location. Safe available. Comfortable beds, hot shower. Well equipped kitchen. Ceiling fans in bedroom and living area used if hot weather invaluable. Gardens and Pool area well kept. Gated location.
Very well placed, in a calm area near the ocean. Great for morning or sunset walks. Went in June 2021, still with Covid restrictions and just a few tourists, and the hotel delivered everything one can expect.
Very enjoyable swimming pools with varying temperatures, from 23 to 29 degrees (the warmest I found in Fuerteventura). Excellent a la carte restaurantes, and good service and installations in general.
Staff and services in general are very good! Special mention to Begoña from room services and Juan from front desk reception.
Unexpected gifts from the Hotel were also a nice detail.
The house was a gem, it was so comfortable. It was obvious the owners had put a lot of thought into their guests. Lovely garden and close to all amenities.
