Location was good, and the water pressure was amazing. Also, make sure you drink the water from the tap. It tastes absolutely incredible, honestly that alone was the best part for me. The room had three twin beds in it, just a weird arrangement. The view was of a construction site across the street, and revelers at the tapas bar on the street were noisy until 2am every night - maybe request an indoors-facing room. The beds were two twins pushed together, which would move around, not ideal if traveling as a couple. Third bed had ripped fabric on mattress, sheets adequate. Interior of the hotel is beautiful.

Ganada is a lovely city as the entire Andalucia. Was completely in love with the region. The city center is quiet compact and you can walk from old town to Albacin, Alhambra, Catedral etc...many tapas and restaurants options. The view of Sierra Nevada is gorgeous. I highly recommend to visit one of those Flamenco shows exhibit in the Gipsy caves :)

Granada is steeped in fascinating history and is incredibly beautiful. We were in need of a real break and got exactly that because this city is perfect for pottering about. The weather in April was lovely (25-29 degrees) so we also spent a lot of time just sitting on the roof terrace, reading and absorbing the incredible views of the valley with all the minarets and church towers.
For me, highlights were the "Muslim monuments" tour and visiting the Al Andalus hamman (not cheap as I included a scrub, massage and use of the pools and steam rooms). This place is really special as it was "opened in 1998 after being closed for 500 years" - you go down the stairs into history.
Lovely fish, lovely ice cream, lovely Sangria. Leave your diet at home.
One tip - if you want to see all of the Alhambra, book at least a month in advance. We didn't know this so it was sold out, even off season, but there was so much else to see it really didn't matter.

Granada is superb, it amazed me that the city can accommodate every type of traveler, if you go with family, or friends, or if you are into history, or religion, or even going out to Flamenco shows. 5 days is not enough to see everything, in my opinion.

Granada for tourists is more like Barcelona than Sevilla or Cordoba. All the historic plazas are full of outdoor restaurants, many with American style menus. Busy area, just not very charming. Cathedral and Royal Chapel are worth visiting, but can be crowded. I liked the Monastery of St. Jerome and the Basilica of St. John of God much better. The Alhambra and Generalife are impressive but can be crowded. Go later in the day and by 5 or 6 pm they are much more enjoyable. I did not find the Albaicin district to be that great. Big crowds on narrow main streets, constantly dodging cars trying to get by. The side streets, or alleys really, are rather drab and claustrophobic. But the St. Nicholas viewpoint up there is nice for a view of the Alhambra lit up at night.

Granada exceeded our expectations, we visited for the Alhambra but saw so much more. A very pretty city in a very pretty setting with the Sierra Nevada snow covered mountains as a backdrop. Easy to get around, plenty of busses and a useful metro line that takes you to the bus station or the train station. Our only complaint would be the tourist train we found that if you got off you could not get on again half an hour later as it was constantly full. So maybe go the full circuit then chose somewhere to visit and get a bus back.

Loved the Albaicin, the Arab quarter and all the tea shops.
Loved the Albaicin, the Arab quarter and all the tea shops. The Alhambra was fantastic, but even in April packed with tourists and large coach parties, all posing interminably for photos, the same in the Generalife gardens. The Museo de Bellas Artes (inside the Alhambra Palace of Carlos V) was a waste of time - over half the rooms were closed (all the C19th and contemporary paintings) - with no explanation. However the Capella Reale (adjoining the cathedral) was worth a visit, the final room has a superb collection of C15th Flemish art (Bouts, Memlinc, Van der Weyden) and even a Botticelli. One evening we went up to the Mirador de San Nicholas - in the Albaicin opposite the Alhambra - for great views of the towers and watched the lights come on at sunset.
One of the best Rooms we had in Spain, very clean and tasteful decorated. Personal was just above expectations Sara and Fanny was the best. Great location for visiting Alhambra … we had the”Alhambra view Room” worth every penny. To get in town is a bit of walking 15-20 minutes to city center (just to have in mind), but for us wasn’t a problem.
After all we had a great experience in Eurostars Washington Irving hotel, I’d gladly recommend for those who are interested in culture, tranquility and class.
location is excellent, we drove up to Granada from Nerja in the hire car, the hotel is within easy walking distance of all the main tourist areas. There is a deal with a car park 5 minutes walk away at the end of the main road for discounted parking. Lots of really good places to eat locally, full of locals, so really excellent food not at tourist prices.
Hotel is very comfortable, even though it is one the side of a busy road, the rooms are really well soundproofed. Best sleep ever!
It is amazing how the Staff can make a lovely hotel stand out as The Best... this hotel is an example. We spent 3 nights and the team at this hotel were the most accommodating and gracious and delightful that we met in our two wonderful weeks in Spain. The rooms were super clean, the view magnificent, the food delightful, the location perfect close to the The Alhambrat and a quick 5 minute taxi to the City Center... but the staff... thank you ALL for making this hotel stay so perfect!
This is a very beautiful place, very comfortable room with excellent views. The hotel is located in quiet zone but close enough to downtown and the best places to visit. The staff is just wonderful…Raquel, the manager really takes care of every detail and helps you find the best activities in Granada. The staff is also very kind and make you feel at home. This was a wonderful stay and I fully recommend the place.
The room was superb - spacious, light, airy and very well appointed. As we were staying 3 nights, we were given a rather special room, fairly close the reception area, which occupied a corner of the building - highly recommended.
This was certainly the best hotel we stayed at during our 2 week tour of southern Spain. We thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast too and Granada - well what can one say 'it's divine!'.
It was my best exprience to stay in a hotel during these years. The staff were friendly and sympathetic. The room was big even for three persons and with a extra bed. The room was clean and calm. The yard was besutiful and cute. The location was great near the main street and so close to historical sites of Granada. We even walked to the Alhambra and other sites. The bath was big enough and there was a hairdrayer.
I was lucky to have room 616 which had a large terrace table and umbrella. i was able to have my byo drinks and coffee there every morning before going to the hotels partner cafe for a typical spainish/granada breakfast. The hotel is close to everything Granada has to offer. Super quiet and clean and comfortable. Note there is no fridge or kettle etc as it is a typical basic but smart Spainish hotel.Loved it!
Everything! This was one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at, mainly thanks to the helpful & friendly staff, especially Jose.
The room was clean, comfortable, and has all I needed.
The location is perfectly central, yet on a quiet side street. It seems the rooms are really sound-proofed because I didn’t even hear any noise from the neighboring rooms.
I would stay here again next time I’m in Granada.

I'll be loyal to them whenever I visit. Highly recommended.
Excellent customer service, 5 star accommodation and surroundings. I liked the fact that everything was cleaned to a very high standard and I found no faults. I have travelled a lot and stayed in many hotels. This was one of the best. Well done to the management and team!
Easy access (walk or taxi) to/from train station. Small but very comfortable boutique hotel in the center of old-town Granada. We enjoyed a junior suite room with the separate sitting area and bath & shower. Very comfortable bed with side-street balcony.
The location is great you can go by walk to everything. The apartment is super equiped with everything you need (good bed, good bathroom, good kitchen). It was very clean and the owner super helpful. It was one of the best apartments I've been in Spain.
The hotel was lovely, well maintained, and the views throughout captured the city center from high up on the hillside. The location was less than 10 min walk to Lahambra, a must visit for Granada.
the hotel was magical! best located in Granada and it was a charm. the staff was very helpful with my questions and the room was comfy and fully equipped with what ever you needed
Having spend 10 days in Spain, this is the best hostel I stayed in Spain. Everything is perfect for a hostel, the bed area is Isolated from other guest so you can sleep well
Fantastic hostel which actually feels more like a design boutique hotel! Really nice staff, great location, super clean - absolutely recommend it if you go to Granada!
