Extremely beautiful, unique town. Lots of sights to explore.
Extremely beautiful, unique town. Lots of sights to explore. It would be limited for anyone with mobility issues however as there are many stairs and steep hills to access most places of interest. And it would also not be fun for someone who suffers from a fear of heights.

Amazing historic town.
Amazing historic town.
We traveled during low season in early February and it was very comfortable walking around, but I can see it might be busy during high season. Some shops and restaurats were closed, but there was still a lot to choose from.

Ronda holds a nice mix of modern and old.
Ronda holds a nice mix of modern and old. We found a fabulous wine bar just as we hit the main road which served excellent sherry, wine and port. We also visited local Spanish bars which were busy and buzzing and it was nice to experience a different culture. There were plenty of shops so retail therapy was indulged. As it was between Xmas and New Year, there were special extra activities, especially for children. The weather was great but you definitely needed your 'big-coat' in the evening. During the day it was warm and sunny. Blends of historic buildings and modern restaurants. All the locals were friendly. All in all, we loved it and will definitely visit again. Especially for the view of the famous bridge, which was magnificent.

It as a wonderful experience!
It as a wonderful experience! The food at El Morabito… fabulous 😘 I enjoyed the flamenco music at Don Basco , and walked the entire time through out the city… beautiful city/town… I will definitely be back!!!
Barak Pension and host Anahid are outstanding! We had such a wonderful stay at this beautiful pension. Anahid welcomed us like family. The pension is so comfortable and lovingly decorated in traditional Andalusian motifs. We spent 2 nights in comfort. I was not feeling that well and I loved being able to rest but also be so close to explore the gorgrous town of Ronda. We are traveling throughout Spain for a month and this pension and meeting our delightful host will be a cherished memory of our trip! I would give this a 20 if I could!
The location was perfect on the south side of Ronda along the old city wall. You can park for free down the hill which is an easy walk. The views over the countryside are amazing. A wonderful breakfast was served outside each morning so the view and flowers in the garden could be enjoyed. The hosts (and owners) Lars and Ellen were very interesting and a pleasure to meet. Good advice was provided for day trips, etc. The four days spend at La Escondida were the best of my 25 day trip to Spain and I plan to return.
Fantastic view of mountains and gorge. Spectacular balcony. It had a plexiglass facing (no bars) which allowed for an amazing view! Breakfast was included, and it was superb. One of the best I had while in Spain. Such a huge variety of options, plentiful and elegantly executed. Parador was in town, so walking distance to many attractions. Perfect and I would highly recommend. Just wish I had stayed longer than one night.
A lovely boutique hotel set on a hillside overlooking Arriate and a river valley: beautiful scenery, very peaceful and a very friendly and attentive host. Close enough to Ronda for either a long hike or a short drive but also great to leave the hustle and bustle of that fine city in the evening. Highly recommend this hotel, especially for couples wishing to mix cultural tourism, culture and hiking or rambling.
The hotel itself is incredibly charming. I booked the presidential suite and loved the gigantic hot tub, spacious living quarters, and the fact that the room had a refrigerator. The staff were super-friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was great too. The location is perfect - only one minute on foot to the Puente Nuevo and a few minutes walk to the rest of old town Ronda. I would definitely stay there again.
Wonderful hotel on the edge of the gorge overlooking the valley and mountains surrounding Ronda. The room was spacious, beds comfortable and nicely decorated. Services were great with a bar/cafe and full service restaurant. Best was the pool area with a large pool, and 2 smaller pools to enjoy the expansive views. 5 min walk to the center, made this an ideal location for our stay in Ronda.
Amazingly perched directly above the deep Ronda gorge, our room had a small balcony that actually overhang the deep gorge: the balcony was not for the faint of heart - but the view and ambiance were very special. We loved our amazing suite. Stay here and you won’t regret it. Ronda is wonderful and is enhanced by this beautiful hotel.
Beautiful Hotel rooms, roof top bar, restaurant and pool area had amazing views over the valley and coutryside.
Perfect place to stay when visiting this amazing area. You will need a good hotel room after you have walked around this stunning area. This place is a must visit if you are stopping anywhere in southern spain.
Situated just next to the newer of the two old bridges, the Hotel Don Miguel enjoys one of the best locations in Ronda, walkable to shops, restaurants, parks and many tourist sights. We reserved a Twin Room with a Terrace and Puente Nuevo view, one of the most famous in all of Spain. You pay a premium for it.
Wonderful find! Such a nice surrounding -- with vineyards, a pool, wonderful restaurant, etc. We were so lucky to happen upon this hotel at a such a reasonable price, with excellent staff, especially Adrian. And very close to the town of Ronda. Would definitely stay here again!
. The location was wonderful! The Maundy Thursday procession was the best we have seen in Spain, and we live here! It was literally outside our door.
It was in the heart of the historic town.
A comfortable apartment with sufficient facilities. Not glamorous but liveable
The hotel is a finca that has been renovated. Furniture and decoration are modern and nice, it is very green and relaxing outside, the hotel being situated outside the city. It is nice for a romantic trip to Ronda. It has a swimming pool although it is small.
Perfect location, absolutely charming place, great breakfast, & the little cinema was so adorable. It was a shame we only stayed one night. Ronda is a must visit and we thoroughly recommend this lovely boutique hotel.
Best price performance. Everything was in order - friendly stuff, clean room, good climate control, nice breakfast with sandwich, freshly squeezed orange juice and one of best coffee’s we had in Spain during our trip.
Wow. What a great hotel. The staff are super nice and friendly, the room was superb and the swimming pool the perfect place to chill on a hot afternoon with incredible views.
Would definitely stay again when in Ronda
This is a spectacular location, next to the ancient baths and under the walls of the town of Ronda. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel is a gorgeous restored building. The breakfast is delicious.
AIry spacious bedroom, nicely decorated
Great stylish modern bathroom
Small kitchen in hotel to make tea and coffee and have a snack
Well located to see the sights of Ronda
It was a very cozy hotel with a super location. All the important sights of Ronda were within 15 minutes. The room was comfortable and clean. The receptionist was kind.
