Location perfect for the beautiful old town. The building itself is a lovely example of the style of houses in that area with old features preserved. Breakfast was excellent value, fresh ingredients, good coffee, fresh orange juice...a perfect Spanish breakfast. There is a secure underground car park about 4-5 minutes walk away and it's very cheap for a 24 hour stay.

Hostal Miguel de Cervantes is situated in a charming 16th-century former convent building, next to Cervantes Museum in central Alcalá de Henares. It offers air-conditioned and heated rooms with free WiFi. Each bright room features an LCD TV, and work desk. The private bathroom comes with a hairdryer. Featured in the Michelin Red Guide, guests can enjoy fresh fish and grilled meats at Hostal Miguel de Cervantes’s restaurant. There is also a bar-café, a terrace and a lounge with flat-screen TV. The Hostal is just 50 metres from the Cervantes House-Museum and the Palacio Arzobispal. Madrid Barajas Airport is only 15 minutes' drive away. An airport shuttle service is available for an extra charge.

Hostal Miguel de Cervantes is located in the very town centre of Alcalá de Henares, next to Cervantes' house and very close to its famous Calle Mayor. It occupies a beautiful 16th century building, completely renovated and with a lot of history inside. The rooms are very comfortable, ideal for short stays to enjoy the beauty of the city. They features central heating, hot/cold air conditioning, full private bathroom, free Wi-Fi, 32" flat TV and room service if required. Our restaurant MESA 12, formerly known as Miguel de Cervantes, is located on the ground floor of the building, being a gastronomic reference in the city. Its Mediterranean cuisine based on fresh produce, its grilled meats, with some avant-garde touches, make this restaurant a must to those who visit Alcalá. We also have a cafeteria/bar area where you can enjoy a healthy and complete breakfast, a good wine or a fresh beer, accompanied by a varied menu of tapas and snacks. The Hostel is a few meters from the Cervantes House Museum, the Archaeological Museum and the Archbishop's Palace. Madrid Barajas airport is only 20 minutes away by car, and can also be accessed by train or bus.
