Mahon is an easy going city. It is small and not too noisy.
Mahon is an easy going city. It is small and not too noisy. There is plenty to do and see. You can cover most areas on foot and there is a good bus service to other parts of Menorca. The harbour area is attractive with boat trips which are a great way to see the city and get an idea of its' history. It is also a very pleasant area to walk and there are plenty of restaurants, cafes and bars both in the harbour area and in the centre of town. Menorca has lovely beaches and because it is a relatively small island it is easy enough to reach anywhere from Mahon

Mahon is an interesting town with a large harbour and many individual shops. There is a wide range of cafes and restaurants. The streets are clean and the main town centre is pedestrianised so is very easy to get around.

The hotel whilst in the old part of town is very modern, bright and clean inside. The staff were very helpful and couldn’t go more for you. The hotel is very well situated ato explore the old town and is just 5 minutes from the famous fish market. A good base to discover the rest of the island, I think that buses can get you to a fare number of places but as frequent visitors we invariably have a car waiting at the airport. Mahon is full of character, steeped in history. Boat trips available round the huge harbour.

Mahon port is a must, lovely to walk around and there are 2 lifts to take you from the port to the old town. We love art galleries and museums and met some wonderful people. Not a place for children really, Better for children on the west side of the Island. Some really good restaurants Tap Can, La Opera and especially Perla!JudySpain

The towels and linens of the hotel are fabulous, as well as the grooming kits supplied. I had the Junior suite, which was super spacious and perfect for couples or persons traveling solo. The breakfast is 'buffet' however you order the items a la carte - which I prefer for sanitary reasons - and the food is served directly to your table.JonathanUnited States of America

In a beautiful building on a quiet side street the interior is super stylish and full of art and cool things. The room spacious and very comfortable. The hosts very helpful and friendly and gave us great tips on where to eat and what to do in Mahon. The breakfast delicious. We just didn’t stay long enough but hope to return.
