The apartment is spacious, tastefully furnished with kitchenette and a pleasant view of the square. We spent a significant amount of time gaining access to it alongside time spent completing payment. There were language difficulties which took time to resolve. We recommend that the owner looks at simpler ways of receiving payment. The apartment is a long walk from the town centre and it was very difficult to find. We recommend that the owner gives simple information on its whereabouts alongside the booking confirmation, and with a clear map to assist. We also recommend that payment be made through the Booking.com's website.

Amazing historic town. We traveled during low season in early February and it was very comfortable walking around, but I can see it might be busy during high season. Some shops and restaurats were closed, but there was still a lot to choose from.

Ronda holds a nice mix of modern and old.

Ronda holds a nice mix of modern and old. We found a fabulous wine bar just as we hit the main road which served excellent sherry, wine and port. We also visited local Spanish bars which were busy and buzzing and it was nice to experience a different culture. There were plenty of shops so retail therapy was indulged. As it was between Xmas and New Year, there were special extra activities, especially for children. The weather was great but you definitely needed your 'big-coat' in the evening. During the day it was warm and sunny. Blends of historic buildings and modern restaurants. All the locals were friendly. All in all, we loved it and will definitely visit again. Especially for the view of the famous bridge, which was magnificent.

The location was perfect on the south side of Ronda along the old city wall. You can park for free down the hill which is an easy walk. The views over the countryside are amazing. A wonderful breakfast was served outside each morning so the view and flowers in the garden could be enjoyed. The hosts (and owners) Lars and Ellen were very interesting and a pleasure to meet. Good advice was provided for day trips, etc. The four days spend at La Escondida were the best of my 25 day trip to Spain and I plan to return.

The place is just amazing! I would not say it too often, but this time it is true. The location is in the very center of Ronda - 50 m from Plaza de'Espagna and 50 m (opposite) from the oldest arena for Toridas in the whole of Andalusia, and bottom line, just 100 m from the Ponto Nuevo (which is probably the reason you would be in Ronda in the first place). Old building, but well maintained. The interior finishings and furniture is an absolute charm!! You would qualify it for a "boutique" hotel!

The staff was so nice and helpful about what what we could do in Ronda. The hotel was very secure and clean. The breakfast was welcome. We had coffee and toast and fresh squeezed OJ!! We were lucky and found parking on the street very near to the hotel. There seems to be space between the rooms so you can’t hear other guests, which I loved. We were in room 13 and it was quiet in the hotel. It’s about a 15 minute walk to the tourist attractions and lots of places to eat near by.

The room faced away from the street and was very quiet. The bathroom had a full length tub instead of just a shower which I loved soaking my tired feet in. The staff were very helpful and had more information to share than the local tourist office, especially on hikes near Ronda. The breakfast buffet (extra charge) was plentiful. The hotel is located in a quiet street but only a short walking distance to the attractions. Internet worked great.
