Cádiz might be a small strip of land, but being the oldest inhabited city in Spain, it means that it’s covered with monuments from different ages and cultures. Beautiful sandy beaches kissed by crystalline waters are also part of its magic, while you won’t be able to forget that you’re in Andalusia, land of music and passion.
Founded by Phoenicians, it had Greek, Roman, Arab and Visigoth influence, and the Age of Discoveries reclaimed its fame as port city. It became a cosmopolitan centre of commerce, enriching a heritage still visible in its historic centre. Don’t miss its narrow streets, colourful squares, the Roman theatre, and the imposing and eclectic Cathedral. Some of the most unique hotels in Cádiz are located in the Old Town.
The newer districts include wide avenues and contemporary buildings. These are the areas of Cádiz with a larger offering of modern hotels on the beach and apartments for rent. Restaurants and cafés serving great local, Andalusian and Spanish specialities are also easy to find.
The railway stations of Estadio, Segunda Aguada, and Central link the city with the rest of the country, while the nearby Jerez Airport is 47 km away. If thinking of visiting southern Spain, check out the Cádiz accommodation deals on Booking.com!

Second trip to Cadiz.
Second trip to Cadiz. I liked it even better the second time. It's a lovely city to just wander in. Just enough attractions to keep one busy but not enough that you are exhausted trying to see everything. Parks are lovely, harbour is a great area to walk in, and the city streets are fascinating. Great food everywhere we went.

We loved the Convento Hotel as it was centrally located and made visiting attractions, restaurants and beaches very easy for us. The atmosphere in the city on Thursday 11th. of April was electric with the arrival of 3 cruise ships . We met some of the said participants who were only too willing to share their experiences. This made our road trip to Cadiz even more memorable, We enjoyed eating at La Chanca restaurant right beside the hotel so much, we went back a second night. Cadiz is well worth a visit.

There is not much to do or see in Cadiz, but if you're the kind of traveler that likes strolling down the street and find hidden gems, this is the place for you! It has a lovely atmosphere, spontaneous flamenco singing (closer to the flamenco school), nice beaches and super friendly people.
you can totally skip the museum, and if you go to the cathedral, don't forget to climb up the tower. The view is fantastic! Also, if you're a vegetarian, better bring some food from home.

Unfortunately we were only there for a day and happened to hit it on a gale force wind. We were stuck in our room. The town did look lovely though.
BEST Italian restaurant - La Mafia right near the hotel.
We had the most wonderful time in Cadiz staying in this fabulous apartment. The location is perfect, in the old town close to the sea & train station. The apartment is immaculately organized, equipped with every possible convenience and so tastefully furnished/decorated. The icing on the cake was our fantastic host Claudia, who provided us with an abundance of information, the warmest of welcomes & left no stone unturned to ensure we had the most enjoyable stay. We loved Cadiz, the apartment & Claudia.
Everything about this Hotel is exceptional!!It was so nice to be greated by the most charming young woman when we arrived! She shared all the information about this wonderful property plus gave us a suggestion for dinner (which was delicious)! The Hotel is absolutely wonderful, one of the nicest we have stayed in!!
We learned that the owner will be renovating the building next door and also turning it into a Hotel. We can't wait to return to Cadiz to stay at this enchanting property again!!
Since the hotel has 1 star on Booking, my expectations were somehow modest, but I could not have been more wrong! The hotel is amazing, worth 4 stars! The receptionist took care of a warm welcome and recommended what to see and where to eat in Cadiz. The room was spaceous, comfortable, well-equipped and perfectly clean - a very good value for money. The breakfast was delicious, something for every taste. A reasonably priced parking is located nearby, jusy a few minutes walk.
Very simple but comfortable and charming property, located in the center of old Cadiz. Very helpful staff, and excellent value for money. The property does not serve breakfast, but this is no problem as the café next door offers great breakfast options. Cadiz is a wonderful city, very authentic and a bit less touristic than other major cities in Andalucia.
Nice hotel with a roof terrace on the edge of the historic city center. The option for parking was perfect and our room was surprisingly big. The house is gorgeous with a garden on the 4th floor and a historic courtyard. Wifi was good and the personnel was very friendly and happy to help. The location is very convenient to see beautiful Cadiz.
The staff was very friendly and ready to help whenever needed.
The hotel is nice and comfortable. The room size was more than enough for a solo traveler and quiet.
The breakfast was very good and there was a big variety.
The old town is about 25 minute-walk from the hotel; so if you like walking, you can do that along the beach promenade.
Nice stay at Cádiz and enjoyed the hotels' facilities, nice building and top roof. Kitchen also well equipped with everything you need to cook and store your stuff. Accessible location in the city centre, close to Caleta beach, cathedral and Cádiz train station. I haven't tried breakfast (€5).
This hotel made our visit to Cadiz special. It is located very near to the main square and just a short walk to all of the attractions and resturants. A secure underground car park is at the hotel. On the 6th floor is an outside pool with sun beds and great views over the city.
The apartment is spacious and very well decorated. each room was a pleasure to explore with innovative lighting, furniture and art work. it is very well appointed for travellers and allowed us to relax and enjoy our time in Cadiz far more than we would have in a hotel room.
I had a wonderful experience at this hotel. As a solo traveler, I felt extremely welcomed, safe, and comfortable. The hotel staff was also stellar. Maria was super helpful, kind, and went above and beyond to share information with me about Cadiz. Highly recommended!
New Hotel. Lovely spacious room with nice view of ocean. Delicious varied breakfast buffet. Helpful staff. Across the road from ocean but quite a walk from Cadiz old town- on the bus route though. Lots of restaurants nearby. Kettle and tea making station.
Great location in the heart of the old town area of Cadiz. Only a short walk from the train station. Staff were very helpful whenever I had questions or needed assistance. Nicely set up for a longer stay of a week plus. Washing machine came in handy too.
This hotel is a good choice for a stay in Cadiz. It is located close to the heart of the city and about 1.5km from La Caleta beach, so even a swim in the Ocean is possible. The breakfast buffet is good, so I can recommend this hotel for a stay in Cadiz.
It was really nice location 15 walking minutes away from old town in Cadiz and directly in front of the best white sand beach in Cadiz.
Breakfast was really good with frest fruits and very friendly staff.
Room was very clean.
I recommend the hotel.
Great location in the old part of the city, everything within walking distance. Next door to possibly Cadiz’s best tapas bar. Parking in the hotel garage. A bit difficult to find hotel but well worth the effort.
The Hotel was ideally situated for exploring the old town of Cadiz, restaurants and cafe bars.
The decor of the hotel was lovely staff very obliging especially the gentleman who looked after the breakfast room.
The location is perfect, traditional hotel, has been renovated, quiet although in the middle of Cadiz. Spacious room, good bathroom, good wi-fi. Very good cafeteria, friendly service.
The hotel is extremely well located to visit the old town of Cadiz. Everything is within walking distance. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was nice and clean.
