Neighborhood info

Located in the old town, surrounded by history with many points of archaelogical and cultural interest in the surrounding area. . There could be no better place as a starting point to explore medieval Girona! Beyond the old part of the city, the main shopping area is just 15 minutes away on foot approximately. The city has a wide range of cultural activities and a magnificent culinary tradition, led by what is currently considered the best restaurant in the world according to the prestigious classification of Restaurant magazine. Special moments of interest in the city are the Easter week processions, el Temps de Flors (a flower exhibition held every year in May) and the fairs of Sant Narcís (October/November). The city is perfectly located to make one-day excursions to France, Barcelona, the Pyrenees and the Costa Brava, and has a high-speed train station (AVE) connecting Madrid-Barcelona-France.
