On the way to Dahab we stopped in Taba for one night, at the Tolib Hotel.
It was excellent, the staff was very pleasant, they upgraded our room to a view of the pool/sea
The rooms are large and well arranged, the furniture is a bit old but it doesn't bother at all.
In the evening there was a fun show for children and music in the yard.
The breakfast is good and suitable for the money paid.
In short, I highly recommend and we will surely come back again soon

The beach and the underwater coral reef there are absolutely beautiful - this is the main attraction, for sure. Diving there was amazing.
I hadn't been to Sinai in over twenty years so I'd kind of forgotten what it's like. The biggest issues were the heat and the water - you can't drink the water in Egypt if you're not Egyptian, so you have to buy bottled water all day long and it's actually not that cheap, at least at the hotels. Other than the beaches and the hotels, there didn't seem to be a lot to see there - I guess you could take tours but we didn't. It's not really a "town" per say, it's more like a string of hotels, resorts, etc. But it's beautiful on the beach and the hotel we stayed at (Nielson Village) was very nice in terms of the view, the service, the room and so on.

The hotel looks impressive from the outside, the rooms are large, the balcony is relatively large, the cleanliness is average, the facilities in the room are outdated, the food in the hotel is not varied enough and there is a crazy fly problem in the place.

Wonderful hotel, great location, just across the border.
Wonderful hotel, great location, just across the border. The pool and the beach are stunning What's so great about this hotel is that despite the fact it was the peak of the high season, and it was fully booked, you did not feel the crowds since the facilities are so spacious. For families with children, the main hotel building seems to be most comfortable, with the best accessibility to the food services and the pool. For a family with 3 children, 2 adjacent rooms were given and it was great. For couples, I would certainly recommend the Nelson village rooms, which give a much more quiet and romantic setting. We had full board - the food was relatively good, the varaiety rich and sufficient. Service is excellent, and the hotel's staff are friendly and helpful. My only comment is regarding the check-in process which could be more efficient. Throughout the process, hotel customers kept asking for the receptionist's help, not waiting in line, and unfortunately, he was attending to them while he was checking us in, thus making our time longer than needed.
To sum it up - certainly a recommended stay and would love to come again!

Taba is a one kilometer fenced area.
Taba is a one kilometer fenced area. If you want to walk on the beach you will be confined to the area of two hotels (Hilton and Movenpick). Any attempt to keep walking outside these two hotels will be prevented by hotel security. Made me feel fenced in and confined.
On the positive side, it is a short walk from the Israeli border which made me feel very safe.
I will probably not come back to Taba because of the small fenced in area. Like to take walks and not just sit on the beach and eat...

It was one of my memorable trip in my life.
The hotel so warm and I felt I am in my home. The staff so kind and help us with everything we need.
The room has marvelous view to the pool and the sea and it was so clean and large. Aqua park also interesting and the pool was clean. The beach side was very good and kids area also very nice and you can see Jordan from the beach side.
I recommend the hotel especially for the couples and the family who has children.
Thank you Tobya Team for make our stay so comfortable.
The hotel is located 15 minutes drive from the Egypt-Israel border. Completely secluded resort with no shops or restaurants within walking distance at all. The rooms are very large and nice. The staff was friendly and helpful and communications was not a problem. The pool was large, and the beach was nearby with lovely corals for snorkeling.
The food is simple, but good. The place don't have lot of rooms, so quiet, if you want to relax, this place for you... Just the sea, the mountains and you :) The place don't have electricity, just in the evening, don't have wifi, just if somebody share the mobilnet... so it is a very quiet place, no news, no work, just relaxation.
the staff was great, super helpful. i booked 2 rooms for my family, which were located on opposite sides of the property. they were able to get us closer together, even tho hotel was at max capacity. outdoor pool was wonderful and staff there kept pool and beach grounds beautiful. the massage i received at the spa was amazing.
Mahmoud the reception guy was kind and the guest manager was so wonderful, she always make sure we are comfortable and her treat were so kind and well thank you very much.
The hotel chef has make us a special plate of food for us while we didn’t find something to eat.
The staff are nice
We were very happy with our vacation.
The warm and kind welcome of the staff and owners makes you feel at home from the start, it’s really the most peaceful and quiet experience in Sinai. The food is made fresh and delicious, the vegetables are fresh and the dinners are a lot of time traditional Egyptian food. Had an amazing and quiet time.
Solitude, silence and sandy beach - not a place to party
One of the most friendly and welcoming staff I ever met.
Rich and tasty breakfast and dinner.
The rooms/bathroom/toilets are very clean.
Located 30min drive from the Taba border crossing.
Good value for money.
The hotel was a 5-minute walk from the Israeli border, the reception was friendly, and the room was very spacious and clean. The housekeepers were very nice, and they created a different animal shape on the bed every time. There were two very, very good restaurants.
In general the infrastructure is really good, the facilites are nice. I really liked my room! In addition, there are pools, a casino, stores, tours. So people don't really need to come out or look for anything else (except for buying an Egyptian sim card).
The hotel was excellent, and offers pampering, I recommend coming and staying at the hotel, the reception manager noor was amazing and answered all our requirements. Summarizing the experience as excellent and I will return again.
Overall, I think it’s a good value for money. The resort is extremely beautiful and the pool the Laguna were very nice. The staff is very friendly and responsive. The hotel’s (extra paid) restaurant (El Mar) was good.
A wonderful hotel, right on the border, the staff was courteous and professional, both in the hotel and in the casino, the service was great, and the facilities were excellent. We will definitely be back again soon!
Almost everything was fine , the staff was friendly specially Ahmed at the reception and Sobhi at the reef bar.
