Bayahibe small and cozy, easy to drive, we were there to look for possible place to live. However the europeans have locked up the town and are building many apartment complex's for tourism. Too expensive to rent or buy in Bayahibe. Nice place to visit at Villa Baya for 4 days and that is it. 30 tour bus's bring in 2000 people daily from all over to go on catamaran tours, particularly to Isla Saona I suspect, as well as the scuba business. When the apartment complexs are finished in the next 2 to 3 years, Bayahibe is going to be totally overcrowded I suspect. I asked about snorkel tour for a couple hours. $150 usd!!!!! OUCH!! I am a snorkeler as well as a dedicated swimmer.

This is a very safe feeling small village.
This is a very safe feeling small village. We never felt unsafe as we walked around during days or nights. The restaurants along the waterfront served great food at very reasonable prices. Most of the waitstaff do not speak English which made for a bit of fun. I highly recommend taking a full day trip to Saona Island if you are traveling to Bayahibe.

Pay attention to buy tours from seller on the road or from the massive tour agency! We totally reccomend you to have a look and book from the official website of bayahibe Village. Canto de la playa is the best!

Bayahíbe is an excellent place.
Bayahíbe is an excellent place. Nice view and it is closer from the SDQ airport than Punta Cana.
The beach was pretty safe and there is a lot of security staff all around the place. No problem with that.
The beach is not too salty, and the sand is clean and white. I really liked Bayahíbe.
Best hotel i had in Dominican Republic. Great huge rooms, nice decorated. Lovely people. Good vibes, good party´s. Beautiful rooftop, with breakfast on the rooftop and a yacuzzi.super convenient location and the organized, friendly and always available staff.Excellent terrace bar fabulous cocktails but above all nice environment. The hotel is located in the center and you can move on foot as well as we did! You have to go there! Highly recommended!
This B&B is in the village Dominicus nearby Bayahibe.Dominicus is more calmer and cleaner than Bayahibe.
There is a nice public beach. If you like privacy and nature you can walk by the sea.
There are very clean apartments in Villa Luna, a few options of breakfast, small and clean pool.
The best staff and owners! They are very friendly and helpful people. You can speak there English,French, Italian and Spanish.
I recommend this accommodation!
Super good location, walking distance from restaurants, grocery store, and the beach of course! Parking available across from the hotel, in a gated spot. Hotel provided us with a big room and crib, always love when hotels are child friendly. The rooftop pool was wonderful as was the restaurant providing great views of the town. The hotel staff was fantastic they really made our experience unforgettable! Thank you Rudy, Ryan, Omarly and Alex!
Excellent hotel with friendly and helpful personnel -Superbly clean, with excellent breakfast options (my favorite being the rooftop buffet) —Bright and conveniently situated hotel
A lot needs to be said: the hotel is spotless, the service is top-notch, and they genuinely cared that our stay was memorable. The breakfast was tasty and well-rounded. Connected to the beach and other attractions as well.
- The sea and beach, restaurants, diving centers within walking distance
- Perla and Calvin from the kitchen team and Noemi from the front desk really tried to compensate for the inconvenience, the hotel owners themselves were unfortunately very little interested
- Hotel has potential, unfortunately this is not exhausted by the hotel owners, everything seems very unkind
Great stay. Very nice hotel and great location in Dominicus. Rooms spacious, clean and well maintained. Miquel and Susana are very nice and great owners. They took care of everything and were helpful even while staying elsewhere. They provide shuttle service to/from the airport and have very good prices for trips to Saona Island.
I recommend it with all my heart!
The location is perfect. The beach is awesome. The hotel is huge and very well maintained. The food in the buffet is amazing, lots of options, amazing quality and variety. The pools are not very busy, and because there are 3 big ones you won’t need to fight over chairs. Same at the beach. There is a lot of chairs.
Amazing resort, room big and super clean. The beach is one of the best of my life (no seaweed). You can always find place at the beach, but it is better not to arrive too late. This hotel and Bayahibe in general are absolutely recommended.
The area and security were very. Good. central. It was a very nice place with beautifull decoration. Near of the best beach, Dominicus. Pilar was wonderfull with all our needs. We will come back.
Really big and well-designed apartment. Have a private parking. Clean and silent place to sleep. Wellworking air conditioner. Walking distance to the Bayahibe beach and port is quite short.
Christian and the staff of the hotel were very helpful with how to get around in Bayahibe, information on the tours to Saona and how to get back to Santo Domingo. A very pleasant stay.
