Drinks are very expensive.
Drinks are very expensive. Go to the supermarket and take with you. Resturants charge 35 (£3.50) for tap water. The playline is a fun way to get children walking to each place. Everything is within a 30min walk. Free WiFi in legoland and lalandia. Resturants in town are really not worth the money. The family buffet in legoland was worth the money. Amazing food, free drinks and coffee and ice cream. Lalandia have evening entertainment, so if you are staying in a basic room. I reccomend going there in the evening. You can get a decent meal, soft play is open till 9.30pm (£6 pp) bowling, mini golf, rock-climbing, alpine coaster, singers and stage entertainment.

Billund = Lego - not much else to do
Billund = Lego - not much else to do
Lego House excellent for all ages (be sure to visit the basement history exhibition) Legoland OK but aimed at pre teens - albeit with a few small rollercoaster rides
Good food at Gastropub next to Legohouse (but expensive , £80 for two burgers , 1 sweet and 3 drinks)
Good reasonably priced pizza an Mamma's
Billund bakery (on main street) great for coffee, cakes and sandwiches

Legoland was brilliant. We spent two days in the park.
Legoland was brilliant. We spent two days in the park. Friday was during term time so was quiet with no queues. Saturday was very busy.
My kids were at a good age 13 & 8. They were able to gon on everything. They are strict with the height restrictions.
Lalandia Resort is also worth going to situated right across the road from Legoland.
Billund is relatively small and you can walk to most places.
Buses run regularly but some are cash only. They will take euro.
Under 12s travel free.
Mamas restaurant was lovely as was the gastropub in Billund.

I personally came for Legoland and Legohouse.
I personally came for Legoland and Legohouse.
The two days I was in the city were exactly the time needed
On the way, I recommend stopping for a few hours or even overnight in the nearby city of Vejle (from where you take the bus to Billund)

Billund is a small town built for families and guests to Lego. Quiet, clean, friendly and easy to get around.
Everything is in walking distance and the airport is so close.
Lalandia was a fantastic base for exploring Legoland and Lego House. Ideal for an 8 and 4 year old with the Aquadome and Play areas and land train. A great family friendly clean site that is quiet and clean.
We booked two rooms at the Hotel Refborg for a trip to Billund to visit the Lego House and had an absolutely wonderful experience. The hotel far exceeded our expectations and the dinner in the restaurant ended up being a surprise highlight of our week in Denmark! For travelers with children, the hotel offers rooms with bunkbeds and a lovely upstairs playroom with games and, of course, lots of LEGO. The hotel is also walking distance from the Lego House and a great playground/community area. I highly recommend the Refborg!
Location was good. I walked from Billund Airport in 40 mins.
I was on a short business trip & needed somewhere close to the Airport where I could be picked up. This place was perfect for that and much cheaper than the alternatives, that are all geared to Legoland.
Communication with the owners was really easy and the instructions were very clear
The apartment is well situated and easy to find as well as it is close to Legoland, so you do not need to rent a car. you can arrive by bus from airport and the take a walk. The shop is almost round the corner. The host is very attentive. if we will plan to visit Legoland again, I will book the same apartment for sure. Thank you very much!
Very nice quiet location between fields and forest, close to Legoland. Friendly owners who tried to make us feel at home. Very good for our young boy with a small playground, a very cheerful and friendly dog and of course the horses. Nice outside terrace to have breakfast. Practical little kitchen with everything we needed.
The location was great. Short walk from the Lego house where you can also catch the shuttle bus to all of the main local attractions, including the airport. Legoland and Lalandia were a 20 minute walk. It's also next door to a supermarket. There is also wifi and a washing machine, but no powder or drying rack
The property is very well located. It was literally in the center of all attractions yet close to the airport. The staff was incredibly helpful and smiling all the time. They solved every problem we’ve had and answered all our questions patiently. Especially a big thank you to Nicholas in the reception 😀
nice small hotel conveniently located 20 min on foot from Legoland, 5 min from the bus stop, 2 minutes from Legohouse, big supermarket just next to the hotel, clean comfortable beds, reasonable (for Denmark) price, breakfast - modest choice, but everything fresh and tasty, nice and helpful staff
The house is big, so you don't see other families. There are a lot of toys for children if weather is rainy. Elisa was friendly, and allowed to drink some coffee and juice. You can use good taxi - dantaxi to get to legoland or airport. The room is spacious and clean.
The rooms were the perfect space for our family of 4 and the outdoor play areas for the kids were amazing! Our kids said they enjoyed playing on the farm with other families even more than their day at nearby Legoland. We would absolutely love to go back sometime.
(1) Good quality-cost ratio comparing other hotels near Legoland. (2) Convenient Parking in front of room. (3) Walking distance to Legoland park, Lego castle hotel etc. A few minutes drive to Lego house. (4) trampoline and sandpool are plus to kids.
Hotel was conveniently located within the small town, very close to the Airport. 10 minutes walk to Legoland, which was the only reason for us being in Billund. Breakfast at the hotel was excellent. The beds were comfortable.
Location is great, close to legoland and waterpark, even airport is a walking distance, though there is a free shuttle both directions. In motel territory is a lot of stuff to do for the kids.
Breakfast was amazing! And the room was comfy enough to spend a night. After staying here we moved to the Legoland cabin, and this hotel was much more comfortable than the cabin.
Nice, clean and cozy place in a quiet street. Around 1 km walking distance from Legoland. Airport is very close to the town, public transport is available. Legoland were awesome!
Very spacious, peaceful and comfortable accommodation with all facilities.Such friendly hosts too.Perfect location for access to Billund airport and Legoland.
