Tisvideleje is a nice sleepy town in North zealand.
Tisvideleje is a nice sleepy town in North zealand. Perfectly suited for us who wanted relief from city’s hustle bustle . Well connected from Copenhagen by train to Hillerød and then by the lokalTog. Nice beaches(not exotic but quiet), clean water, abundance of nature. There is a nice bakery ( Brød & vin ) baking fresh breads and brewing fresh coffee which I strongly recommend for your perfect breakfast before heading towards beach😊. If someone keep bonus day can well plan for one day trip to nearby Fredriksborg Castle ( can get down at slotpavilionen or hillerød station) as well as famous kronoborg castle at Helsingør. DOT mobile app( for LokalTog) is very helpful in this regard to buy train/local bus tickets at your will.

The property is a few minutes walk from a quiet and pretty train station where you can catch local trains or head into Copenhagen (takes about an hour). The village has some very nice cafes, restaurants and pretty shops.

It is quite near Tisvildeleje station only 10 minutes walk away. You need good shoes like sneakers to walk around. The staff is friendly, there is possibility to wash laundry, there are farm animals: goats, rabbits and pigs. Breakfast was good.
