Excellent starting point to visit the southern area of the Black Forest and if you are also planning a visit to Europa Park. The village itself is very idyllic and worth spending at least some hours to walk around its many trails.AlfredoBelgium

Not your chain hotel, and one that gave true German atmosphere. Had an excellent evening meal there, and room and breakfast were certainly up to the standard we expected. There was a nice little balcony to sit out on which was very welcome on the hot evening weather we experienced. Our 2 nght stay was excellent value. As they were pre-informed that I am Coeliac, they provided Gluten-Free bread rolls for breakfast. Large ample car park.

Free onsite parking was very welcome. After a long day of driving, it was very nice to have a restaurant attached to the hotel. As a non-smoker in Europe, I greatly appreciated the sign at the entrance to the restaurant’s outdoor seating area stating that smoking was prohibited during mealtime.

The breakfast was very tasty and the dinner was above all the expectation. Dinner was prepared by a very talented Chef and it was worth to be in the hotel for this meal. The stuff was with high customer service awareness.

We got a great big room with jacuzzi, great privacy and lovely view to the valley and the mountains. The restaurant was also lovely with greatly made local food and breakfast was excellent 😊

The owners are very friendly and helpful and although they spoke almost-no English, we managed to find a way to communicate. The flat had beautiful views and was comfortable.
