We've liked the à la carte restaurant Gynt's very much. Not only for the quality of their food but even so for the kindness and helpfulness of the staff. Quite the opposite of the desk office lady. She can certainly learn from these people how to conduct business in a proper and fluid manner.

We enjoyed the boat trip on The Stralsund from the quayside in Wolgast. There’s a €2 reduction for seniors on Fridays!
The restaurant Der Speicher is an excellent place to eat. The meat there is very good. It’s probably best to make a booking.
You can reach Anklam easily and that’s well worth it to see the Otto Lilienthal museum, which is inexpensive to enter and well presented, with a very friendly member of staff.
Also within reach is Peenemünde, fascinating and thought provoking and some coastal resorts with interesting parts to explore
My daughter forgot her most loved teddy and the owner immediately called me. Unfortunately we were unable to turn and therefore he sent us the teddy via post
