A great town, close to the border, with all you need for a vacation, great people, very friendly, clean and a lot of facilities in nature for walking and relaxing. Just a 2-hour drive to Amsterdam or even less to Dusseldorf, Koln, Bonn, or other interest points.

Even with the smell of chlorine cleaning materials, not in a bad way, just nostalgic. It was a comfortable hotel. The room was nice and modern the breakfast buffet had more than you usually see at other hotels. The staff did their best (although a bit chaotic) The hotel location was great too. you were in downtown within 5-10 minutes on foot.

A bike or car is needed to reach the inner city. There is no restaurant available, but there are cold beverages, plates and cuttlery to use when ordering pizzaservice. At a distance of about 1km (walking distance) there is Restaurant Tiek, which I can recommend for dinner.

This actually worked out quite well for us and we asked to move to the main hotel for our return trip. super large, quality rooms, very comfy beds, large bathroom and nice sitting area outside. very nice breakfast and they really do put smiley faces on the boiled eggs. very nice frendlt staff.

We were in the 2nd location and had to go for breakfast to the other location (500 metres distance). Not a problem for us as the weather was good and we had our bikes with us. The breakfast was oke.
