Idstein is a lovely friendly little town with a medieval centre dating back to th 13th and 14th centuries. Locals are friendly and helpful. Good restaurants and cafes in the centre of the old town. Just 30 minutes by taxi from Frankfurt main airport.

Great stop over before catching a plane out of Frankfurt when traveling far. We have been staying in Idstein for the past 4 years before family, friends, or ourselves fly out of Frankfurt. It is so convenient, beautiful and accommodating! We have suggested this idea to many Americans. As Americans we are treated very well in Idstein!!

The hotel is near the centre for restaurants and there are parks nearby. The hotel itself is quiet and tidy, with friendly staff. We had 2 rooms with 1 bathroom and it was a perfect arrangement for the family, plus our dog.
