There isn't anything not to like about this beautiful classy city. A taste of little European city without having to travel the long distance to Europe. Beside beautiful classy city, there's delicious foods, plenty of shops, and best is the pastries. Gardens are beautiful in summer!

My husband and I have been visiting Quebec City for over 20 years now, and it was always our favorite place to go.
This year, however, through no fault of the Hotel, the Homelessness around the city was jaw-droppingly sad and very heartbreaking.
I am embarrassed to say that, as a fellow Quebecer, that our Gov't has not done more to help our people.
Albeit, we did have a wonderful time visiting the historic sites, drinking some delicious wines and meeting some wonderful people.
Bring your comfy shoes because there is a lot of walking!

Charisma of the city. Friendly people. Nice safe trip.
Charisma of the city. Friendly people. Nice safe trip. My complaint was the some restaurants were not willing to give me a seat because i was alone. I was told they were full when the restaurant was half emptly. Restaurant Le Conti was excellent, great food great service, very friendly staff and they gave me a nice spot at the bar. I wasn't refused like one of the nearby restaurant simply because i was alone.
Next trip would take a bed and breakfast with parking.

We enjoyed the experience of Winter Carnaval and were happy that we timed it to include the finale parade. A true spectacle!
We loved navigating the old city and all of its beautiful buildings, streets, shops and restaurants. It was really magical.
The highlight of our trip was our private tour with Judith from Quebec history and nature tours. We highly recommend taking the time for this tour, you will learn so much and by the end will feel as though you are strolling the streets with an old friend. She is exceptional!

Quebec City is a few hours' drive from our home in New Hampshire and we have visited many, many times over several decades. Simply put, it is one of those locations that every traveler worthy of the name must visit and also the only way you can travel to Europe without leaving North America. Brush up on your French for the full experience, but don't hesitate to go if you're strictly an Anglophone - the days of hostility toward English speakers are long past and you will be welcomed everywhere. Look for the cozy bars and chef-owned bistros, of which there are many, or splurge on a fancy meal at the Chateau Frontenac or Le Continental. You can't go wrong either way, and, like us, you'll no sooner leave than you'll be planning a return.
The help desk on PHONE was very accommodating to the request. We had an issue, and the front desk person promptly shifted us to a new room, which felt like an upgrade of room. The hotel is 11 minutes walk to the old town and also close to a bus stop wherein you can take Bus 800. A small pantry with oven, fridge, and microwave exist which was handy to warm take-away food.
The apartment is in an old house in the Old Quebec area and within walking distance to the main Old Town where the tourists visit. Access to the highway was also quite easy. Overnight parking is in front of the apartment building and there is in and out privilege. The beds were comfortable. The living room had a lot of natural light and the kitchen was well equipped.
The front desk staff were super helpful and very friendly. The location is excellent if you are spending time in Old Quebec. The German Christmas Market is literally right outside the hotel door. The funicular and stairs to Lower Town are just a short walk. The bed was comfortable and the room was very quiet and clean.
Great location, close to Parliament and gates to Old Town. You could spot it from anywhere so easy to orientate yourself.
Spacious room, comfortable beds.
Nice pool.
Could self park in Indigo car park under hotel and conference centre. You get one exit per night of stay. Easily accessed by lift from hotel.
In particular, this hotel where you can cook your own meals while traveling with your family was very useful.
1 King Size Bed on the 2nd floor, a bunk bed for children in a separate room, and a living room and kitchen on the 1st floor.
Location in Quebeck Old Town was good for sightseeing.
This is our favourite hotel in old Quebec City. We stay here everytime we come to Quebec City and feel like it is "our hotel". The hotel staff are awesome, the Bistro 1640 was exceptional!!! And the location is perfect - right in front of the Chateau Frontenac!
Nice hotel and well located for sightseeing of old Quebec. Staff was very helpful and professional, specifically Ms. Pereira at the front desk. Bed very comfortable. I would rate this hotel as a nice 4 star hotel, not sure if it is a 5 star.
We loved the coyness of the place, Francois & Martin were exceptional individual, the proximity to many restaurants and the old town was pleasant, the Breakfasts were delightful, much better in my opinion than a large impersonal hotel.
This is a charming property in Old Town Quebec. The staff is reason enough for a stay there. The rooms were small but very clean and they provide free breakfast. I was there for two nights and I could not have had a more pleasing stay.
Almost everything good about the hotel. But old but still good. Walking distance to bus stops. No 800 goes to old quebec. Better, buy daily bus pass online and use it to avoid parking issues in old quebec downtown.
Great location. Across the street from the Hotel Frontenac and right in old Quebec City. Walking diatance to restaurants and shops and the Citadel too. Rooms were clean and spacious and comfy beds.
Great location in Old Quebec! Very near Saint-Jean & st Louis streets where you can find plenty of restaurants, shops, and breakfast places! & It's also a few minute's walk to Fairmont hotel
Great location in Old Quebec City. Not far from airport. Beautiful hotel. Nearby restaurants are also great. Some really good food and cocktails. Location location and price you can not beat
Very cute hotel located in a convenient location in Old Quebec. Close to restaurants, waterfront. Really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return for a future vacation.
This hotel is in the best location in Old Quebec, just one block from the Chateau Frontenac and within walking distance to almost eveything important to see or visit.
The location of the apartment was in prime spot and within walking distance to the old town of Quebec City. Lots of restaurants under and around the apartment.
