As I am a visitor from the UK who doesn’t drive I found the transport very useful as Canada is such a vast and open country. Unfortunately it didn’t go to some of the places I wanted. There was also travel disruption so it limited my visits. The improvements that are underway look very promising but at the moment caused too many problems for me especially as I wanted to get to St Jacob’s Farmers market. Better if you have a car.

The staff member at check in was very difficult to understand, she spoke very quietly and very quickly. There was a great deal of noise in the hallway at 2 am with people talking loudly and slamming doors, for at least an hour. None if the fans or temperature control worked, room was very hot and stuffy. When we mentioned our concerns at checkout they didn't really seem to care. Said we should have come down to the front desk to complain about the noise. At 2 am in pajamas? Not even free parking offered as compensation.

We visited Christmas week so a lot of amenities closed.
We visited Christmas week so a lot of amenities closed. Malls were busy with sale shoppers. Overall people in Kitchener were very friendly. There were lots of food locations with a variety of types available to dine. The museums we were able to visit were clean and well presented with interesting information about the area. Kitchener was central to a number of outlying interesting communities with antiques, box stores and outlet stores. Not nearly as much hustle and bustle atmosphere as in much larger cities. Vehicle traffic was good. Would highly recommend Kitchener.

Kitchener is quite a nice place to visit: the downtown area is attractive and it's easy to see the sights on foot. Several good restaurants and pubs are available, and if you enjoy browsing in bookstores you're in luck: there are several right on King Street, which is the main drag in Kitchener and on into the adjacent municipality of Waterloo. If you have time and enjoy walking, definitely venture into the city parks and the residential neighborhoods that adjoin downtown: they're lovely.

Thought of it as lovely suburb of Toronto.
Thought of it as lovely suburb of Toronto. In fact nothing but easier way to.get there. Really nothing for tourists. I thought airport like a junior high version of airport. Taxis difficult if not impossible to come by but with working ATM. Nationwide computer failure by Rogers did not help.

I went to Kitchener from Toronto (Etobicoke) on the first day of December to see the Bingemann Gift of Lights drive-thru--excellent. The next day I went to the St. Jacob's Market and Outlet Stores. I went around 10 am--perfect time to go in the winter months--not too crowded--excellent! Thankfully both days were great weather-wise--sunny in the AM.
Drivers are like Montreal drivers--terrible and very fast. Need a GPS to get around--very, very confusing City to get to events
A new and well stocked apartment. The location was great as I could get a tram/train outside the main entrance. The concierge was more than helpful when I arrived and sorted all my questions. It was good to know that there was someone there most of the time. (I didn’t meet the host so the rating is for him.) The only reason I have not given a full marks is the town of Kitchener which has at the moment got a lot of construction which disrupted the transport occasionally. Top marks though as all the improvements look good.
Spacious and bright apartment. Amazing view as we are in 17th floor. The real condition is the same as the picture shown in the app. Clean room and comfortable bed. Close to supermarket, transportation (bus and Metro/ION) so easy access to go downtown kitchener and waterloo. Good in room amenity, complete kitchen equiptment and utensil as well as laundry and dryer which was perfect.
Beautiful well kept property with comfortable accommodations. Nestled into downtown with plenty of businesses around. Easy access to the hotel from the parking garage and very friendly staff. Toronto and Niagara were accessible by a little over an hour drive and the freeways were easy to navigate.
The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was great. Parking on site and very reasonable room prices. Good value for money. Lots of little convenience items available at the shop downstairs. I would stay there again with my family and/or recommend to friends.
I liked everything 😍 the place is so cute!!! small and big at the same time!! I want an apt just LIKE THIS ONE!! A lovely comfortable welcoming and relaxing place to spend one, two, ten nights .. THE HEART OF KITCHENER!! ALSO so modern, BRAND NEW appliances!!
I have stayed there a number of times when I visit family in Kitchener. We can rely on the consistency of a clean comfy stat with friendly and helpful staff. I appreciate that a solid breakfast is included.
I liked that the staff was friendly, the hotel and room were clean. There were towels for after the spa tub and towels for my morning shower. The front desk even gave us bottles of water!
