Awful experience, you enter the property thru a bar and the only way to get to your room up is up two flights of steep, narrow stairs. When I explained to the management that as an old person with mobility issues that I could never carry my wife’s and my luggage up there, we were told tough, take it or leave it, no refunds and that they never have issues as most guests don’t take luggage to the rooms, wink, wink. I’m really surprised that booking.com carries such a property. Flushed several hundred dollars down the toilet that we can ill afford.

The property is in a scenic, very quiet, peaceful location. It was easy to find. We liked the small number of guests which made it feel intimate and easy to meet people. It felt very safe. It was close to the village and easy to access the local market which had good quality food options. The room was very comfortable and everywhere was super clean. He food options are very varied and the kitchen is equipped with everything needed.

The museum was great, as the dinosaur exhibition was on loan and we saw not all but a lot of the marine life, which was wonderful. You must go to Lucerne's on Bagot street, the doughnuts are out of this world.I think the other place was called La Grange Hibou which is on the water great food.
