My stay at the hostel Torre was perfect. The owner Neuza is a great host, she has opened this hostel nearly 40 years ago and has plenty of stories to tell about Salvador and the neighborghood! If you have time to listen to her, she'll share her knowledge and make you feel like home! Her son and the volunteers are also super helpful, if you need anything just ask to them. The hostel has a little patio, two lovely and quiet cats going around and at the ground floor there is a little second hand shop. I was so lucky to have a room with the view on the sea! Finally, what I loved was the breakfast, included and so good: plenty of fruit, bread, butter and cake. Honestly for the price, it is worth it!

The hostel is located on one of the main street, very good position. The rooms and the toilets are clean and also the kitchen is big and well organized with stuff. The included breakfast is delicious with fresh fruits and natural juice. Neuza is a very nice person, I really felt like at home, very good energy between guests. Highly recommended!

Really enjoyed the location (a short walk from Pelourinho but not in the middle of all the tourist chaos). My room had an amazing view of the ocean and sunset. The best part was spending time with the owner Neusa. She is super sweet and made me feel at home. She left me breakfast every morning and gave me great recommendations of things to do while in Salvador that I would not have found otherwise. The cost-benefit was great!
