the breakfast was OK. The attendant was pleasant and cooked our eggs the way we wanted. Hot milk for coffee was good. The room was nice and the view was amazing. the location was amazing. We walked everywhere and could see the mountains from our room. I spent time outside in the patio which was lovely.

We loved Sucre. It retains an excellently restored and preserved Spanish colonial town center with its churches and monasteries. Everything within walking distance (at least for us); we never required car transport. The museum of the liberation period, the Casa de la Liberdade, was very interesting. The cathedral is magnificent and well maintained. English tours existed in all the museums we visited but there were very few time slots available so we made do with our reasonable Spanish skills.

This is perhaps the fifth time that I have visited Sucre with my partner. This time was for family reasons and not tourism. However, as always, Sucre - The White City - does not disappoint. We managed to go and see the indigenous show 'Origins' and combine the experience with dinner. This 'ethnic' history of Sucre was most enjoyable and I can thoroughly recommend it to all ages.

The capital of Bolivia. Amazing architecture in the churches and the government buildings. The city is alive with vendors, The central market is not to be missed. Many small cafes and restaurants, so much to explore and experience.

Sucre is capital of Bolivia but suddenly is very calm place.
Sucre is capital of Bolivia but suddenly is very calm place.
People are nice and streets (except market area) are not crowded.
City is quite small and centre has perfect construction. Need 10 minutes by walking to reach all interesting places.
But most important is the history of that place...
Worth to visit!

We were in Sucre for 4 days, it was lovely to have enough time to stop and watch the markets and see the town in its routine. Recommend hoping on a local bus for its route to see some of the back streets and hop off when something takes your fancy. Buses and Taxi's everywhere so you're never lost. Wonderful to see Indigenous tribes living here in Sucre, and their wonderful clothes and colours.
Recommend taking the bus out "of town" to Mercado Campesino for a another view into the day to day of Sucre.

The Museums are very beautiful and will and interesting...
The Museums are very beautiful and will and interesting history each one, I need more time to looked all. My time was very short.
The weather also was very nice as spring time, very clean nice architectonic colonial houses.
Amazing owner who really went to great lengths as I was suffering with altitude sickness & had to extend my stay. Ended up staying 8 days. The owners son is a dr who was outstanding in dealing with my symptoms. What are the chances of booking a hotel that has a dr with a consulting room!!. I received better care in Sucre than I did in my own country. Cant thank them both enough. Hotel is also in a great location just off the main plaza.Highly recommended
Tania is a wonderful host, very kind and responsive, always helpful, she even got up early in the morning for me and allowed me to check in at 6 am! The hotel is very beautiful and clean, tastefully decorated, there is also an excellent kitchen with all cooking utensils and access to a balcony with stunning views of Sucre. If I could, I would have stayed longer. I thank Tania for her hospitality and warm welcome and highly recommend this place!
beautiful very well maintained property, also spotlessly clean kitchen that could be used by the guests (I saw one lady move the stove away from its place to clean behind there, that kind of clean!), the rooms were cleaned every day too. Very quiet too, best nights sleep I've had on my travels so far. The staff was exceptionally friendly. very good breakfast included as well.
I can only recommend the Parador in Sucre, it is an excellent hotel at a fair rate. It is located just a few hundred meters from the Plaza Mayor and has parking availability. The breakfast was very good, the Wi-Fi was very good and so was the bathroom. I had a spacious room with a nice view over the town. Also excellent laundry service within 24 hours.
Not to mention the super charming house, clean and comfy rooms, really good breakfast… - it’s the staff that makes this hotel a 5-star experience. I had many troubles to organize my trip and Raul and his colleagues in the end managed to find the best option for me (and that’s definitely not their job to do). Thanks a lot to the team of Su Merced.
The host was really polite, she gave us two keys, the room decoration was really nice, the beds were comfy, the bedspreads were warm and comfy.
It has a well equipped kitchen and a terrace with possibly one of the best views in town.
One thing to note is that the pictures and description of the place were totally accurate with the actual place.
A really nice place to stay in downtown Sucre. The facilities are modern, with a small kitchen well equipped, great wi-fi with access to Netflix and other apps on the living room TV. The master bedroom bed was very comfortable, better than mine in the US! The door from the street has an electric lock, so it is very secure as well
This hotel is a real oasis in the city. Close to the central square and cafes and restaurants, but far enough to be quieter. Of course in a central city there is some noise, but the beautiful courtyard prevents it reaching the rooms. The breakfast was very good with a wide selection to choose from. Staff are friendly and helpful.
A lovely place to stay, good rooms, very helpful and friendly staff. Location was superb - close to the centre of Sucre, but quiet and peaceful in the courtyard. Real bonus to have the kitchen and the option to make your own meals. They very kindly allowed us to check in early in the morning (we had arrived from the night bus)
One of the best stays we had so far in South America. Great breakfast buffet, very friendly staff, always going above and beyond to help.
Very good location.
Super clean as well.
Well equipped kitchen.
Had such a great time there, would definitely recommend when in Sucre.
The owner is really helpful and friendly. She helps you with everything!
The apartment was amazing, the best apartment in my whole time of traveling. I felt me absolut safe and comfortable. It has a perfect location. Everything was perfect, thank you!
I had a lovely time here in this monumental and well looked after hotel. The rooms have been decorated in a tasteful and romantic way! The receptionist Rodrigo has been a great help to me; thank you my friend. Hope to be back soon!
Nicely decorated and very quiet hotel. Centrally located. Comfortable beds. Decent shower. Work desk. Tasty breakfast. Very friendly staff, especially the man, who deserves a promotion for his hospitality.
Probably the best hostel in Bolivia. Huge hostel, Central location ( 2 blocks from the main square), 2 kitchens, amazing garden to chill, big dorm rooms.
