Amazing space, room (we had the suite) was beautifully furnished and large, the hotel had additional spaces to roam and play (snooker/fireplace/ chess etc) and so close to the airport. An 8 minute drive!

The hotel is located at a short distance from the railway station. We had a late check inn and the staff was pretty helpful. They provided an extra bed for my kid and even arranged for a public taxi to the airport.

The staff is really nice and accommodating. There is a shuttle bus driving to the airport, free of charge, every 25 mins from 4:25 AM, which is great. The rooms and the restroom are nothing to write home about, but everything is clean and working properly. The bed and the pillows are unexpectedly comfortable, which is rather important.
Located 9 minutes drive from Brussels South Charleroi Airport, DC Hotel Charleroi Airport offers guest rooms with flat-screen satellite TVs.

The main advantage of the hotel is the distance to airport and prices. They can organize a shuttle, which transfers you to the airport within 5-6 minutes; moreover - it came realy "just in time". Next bright point is the personnel - friendly, competent and spoken in 2-3 languages. Excelent beer (Jupiter) from the keg - you can get it at the reception desk (together with a very interesting conversation).
Ibis Budget Charleroi Aeroport in Gosselies features a 24-hour reception and is a 5 minutes' drive from Brussels South Charleroi Airport. Brussels city center is a 1-hour drive away.

Great little airport hotel. Walls are paper thin but they provide you with earplugs.
It felt very unsafe, even for Sunday, in the city center.
It felt very unsafe, even for Sunday, in the city center. We haven't seen any police or other public servants anywhere, the city is filled with people of all types and mainly poor people asking for money. Also, you could smell weed everywhere and rubbish. Broken bottles on the sidewalk, urine smell and a bad feel about the whole place. This is the city center. The whole impression is of a decaying city, unsafe and not that tourist friendly. Will probably never return.

the city is under construction works (obviously to have a better face in the future) but it doesn't seem the safest place to wonder on the streets..a lot of digging and broken streets due to the renovation works in the whole city..i wouldn't spend more than a day here

The town is well located for day trips to Bruxelles, Brugge and Luxembourg. Town itself has many little cafés and restaurants as well as popular chains. A nice warm shopping mall in the center. Extensive redevelopment going on everywhere (railway station and road junctions). Palais de Beaux Arts seemed firmly closed when I visited (a Saturday in January) despite many posters advertising it. I will come back, but when it's warmer.

We had stayed in Charleroi many years ago, and found big changes. The bus Station at Charleroi Sud (now known as Charleroi Central is now very big) and is still under construction. Once finished the area will be lovely. There are lots of competitively priced accommodations to choose from. The public transport system is excellent from trams to buses to trains. Everyone is very friendly and going at Christmas was special. A couple of Christmas markets to see and the ice rink looked good fun. Since we last visited - several years ago - a shopping centre has been opened which has many shops to visit. It was decorated beautifully for Christmas - was lovely and warm and catered for everyone. I would say don’t use use Charleroi for passing through, spend at least a day and enjoy what it has to offer. We are locally and found the food very good and varied.

Charleroi is a good place to stay if travelling around and has good rail links to Brussels. The centre has seen better days and looks run down when walking around at night. I was travelling around a a lot so was just based there as handy for Brussels south airport and my early morning departure flight home. Not a lot in the way of sights as its a ex industry
area.
Very friendly staff, we received a discount for a great update last minute, there is a supermarket near the hotel, near Charleroi Airport, sufficient parking space, great noise isolation, it smelled great in the main area and in our room, easy to use technology, lovely soaps, relaxing jacuzzi, very comfortable bed and last but not least the room was decorated beautifully. Our stay in general was very relaxing and luxurious. Great quality.
Reception and staff are very king and professional. Good breakfast, excellent coffee in the lobby. The room was very spacious and clean. Hotel located right above shopping mall, which was unfortunately closed on Sunday :-( About 15 minutes drive to the Charleroi airport. Big underground parking lot. Coffee machine in the room. Pleasant atmosphere in the lobby.
the owner is one of thee kindest persons we have ever met. He did his best to make our stay as comfortable as possible. He treats the hotel as his home and you feel like you are a guest in his home.
The location is close to Charleroi airport and it is perfect for your stay before or after your flight from there.
The room was amazing, comfortable and cozy, also very silent at night. An amazing bathroom too. It was just a bit tricky to reach the hotel from the center of Brussels.
Nevertheless the staff was amazing and they even booked a navette to the airport for me the night before. I would definitely come back😉
Really close location to Brussels South Charleroi Airport. Keys in keybox with code, regulated heating inside, so it is warm at night. Good price/value for the night before flight if you looking for just bed. No problem with parking space at street. Small fridge, microwave oven, kettle and coffee machine.
Nice hotel nearby Charleroi airport for travellers who arrives late or depart too early.
It's a very basic hotel, typical ibis budget but for 1 night OK.
It's better to take taxi to/from airport because walking might be difficult (pedestrian road does not exist in some areas).
The receptionist is so helpful, offers free car parking and free shuttle bus to airport.
the room is small as described but it was clean with a good furniture and the place is too quite.
I recommend it specially for those who has a flight from Charleroi airport.
- Good location (next to the central station and the airport bus station and close to the city center);
- Very good heating system and large bathroom;
- Friendly staff - helped us change one of the rooms smelling heavily of tobacco and also to book a taxi;
Everything! The professional management and staff. They attended to every need of our family even very late pick up at the airport. The rooms are very comfy. Will definitely stay there whenever traveling from Charleroi.
The location was perfect for us, as we were taking an early flight from Charleroi airport. The house was very comfortable, clean and spacious.
It has private parking. The host kept good contact with us, thank you!!
Good clean accommodation near Charleroi airport at reasonable cost. Better than similarly priced chain hotels. Also it had free parking for my hire car but minibus drop off’s at the airport were also available.
The hotel is close both to the Charleroi South train station and the city center. Also, the transfer from/to the Charleroi airport is easy because the bus station is right in front of the hotel.
Friendly and helpful team. Big rooms. Great shower. This hotel is a great place to stay near Charleroi airport. We enjoyed shopping & dining at the RIve Gauche Mall adjacent to the hotel too.
The location is very good, close to the airport, plus the hotel has a shuttle service, which was a very good option to get to the airport. It was clean and comfortable.
