I love Echuca so perhaps I am biased. But there is always something to do here. And there is usually something on, like a festival, market or someother entertainment. People in the town are friendly and helpful and usually the eateries are clean, well maintained, and the food is always great.

Echuca is a lovely serene country town, perfect for a short stay. Take a relaxing trip down the Murray on a historic paddle steamer, then stroll through the Port of Echuca before visiting the winery or the ice creamery for some delicious cold ice cream. If you fancy a leisurely drive, approximately 15 mins out of Echuca you can have some fun at the Aqua Park (3 hour pass at your own pace). Be sure to enjoy a delicious hamburger at The American hotel where the atmosphere is just right from Sunday to Wednesday, lots of good daily deals.

We booked for 1 night then stayed on for 2.
We were travelling with our little dog, where a pet friendly room was provided, booked in advance.
I would recommend staying here to anyone for aside from the warm friendly people abd great facilities, it's so close to most things. We parked the car and walked most places.
