The bird life is amazing with Yellow-tailed Black Cuckatoos, Kookaburras, Lorikeets and King Parrots living in the Swamp Cypress and Maples trees - all of which I look forward to sharing with you during your stay at the Lakehouse!

For wedding guests we are fortunately located within walking distance to the the following venues: Tiffany's, The Little White Chapel and Tranquil Park. The Maleny Manor is a short bus ride away - generally they have a bus pick up from our property. Sight seeing opportunities: at the end of McCarthy road is an amazing panoramic view of the spectacular Glasshouse Mountains. Our property is a 5 minute drive into Maleny or a refreshing 25 minute walk allowing you to really appreciate the lush green environment. Explore the townships of Montville, Mapleton, Flaxton and Witta where local markets are regularly held on weekends.
