Hi!! I love my home. I was going to sell it but a friend suggested I try advertising it for short term stays instead and I hope you love it as much as I do. As a child, I grew up attending Mt Lawley Tennis Club just down the road and also Sharon Biddle Dance School, which is about 100m away in Harold Street and I have so many amazing memories of these. Growing up in Perth, we would spend every school holidays going to Rottnest Island to swim and see the Quokkas (the happiest animal in the world) or down south to Bunbury & Busselton or even caravaning up in Lancelin and playing in the sand dunes. Perth is a beautiful city and a wonderful place to have grown up. It is cold in winter so bring lots of warm Clothes and boiling hot in summer. While here I highly recommend a day trip to Rottnest to see the Quokkas and a visit to Caversham Wildlife Park to pat a Koala and feed the kangaroos. If you need more information, just ask! Uber/hire car is the easiest way to get to the house & a car hire is recommended. Only 1km from the Mount Lawley cafe strip and 3km further to city central, our beautiful Kings Park overlooks the city, you must visit this during your stay. It's a good old family friendly neighbourhood. FOOD Great pizza, Turkish food and Chinese just down the road, about a 2 min walk. Petrol station on the next corner. Coles Dianella and Inglewood both a short drive away and open until 6pm/9pm. Depending on the day. MARKETS: Every Monday night September through March, there are night food markets that run from Sixth Avenue to Tenth Ave. There are lots of great restaurants and food places nearby as well Cafe recommendations - Sayers Sister, 236 Lake Street, Perth It’s my favourite brunch cafe in Perth and is right near Hyde Park. Hyde Park - After brunch, stroll through Hyde Park, to see ducks and birds and kids can enjoy the playground too. Caversham Wildlife Park is great to see koalas, kangaroos and wombats. Rottnest Island I highly recommend for a day trip to visit the extremely friendly quokkas!! Labelled the friendliest animals on the planet and they really are.
