The room and bathroom were clean. Breakfast was very good and complete, Staff were mostly very friendly and nice to both myself and my dog. The hotel looked really nice and felt like a castle. Both interior and exterior were pretty impressive. Sauna world was pretty big and amazing. Lots of space and many different rooms.

Pleasant, knowledgeable staff, wonderful breakfast, comfortable room with private bath, idyllic country views, several types of sauna and an outdoor pool included in the fee, e-bikes available for rent-- all added up to a top notch experience. I e-biked to a lake and explored the surrounding area on 1 day, and e-biked to Salzburg on a different day. There's a conveniently located bus stop for a bus every 30 min (except Sun) if you prefer public transportation. I found the public bus was similar quality to a US excursion bus and safe late at night. There's a free app that is worth downloading.

It's located very close to Salzburg but still far enough to give it a relaxed feel. There are free Ebikes available for a day, which we really liked. The Sauna zone is also very clean and well maintained, we enjoyed the experience. There is also a gym and a reading room and we were really happy with all the facilities. The staff is friendly and the breakfast buffet had a good variety on offer. All in all, a really good place to spend a relaxing time.

Breakfast options were exceptional! Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Had dinner at the hotel twice, both times it was excellent. The only thing I wished for was AC or at least a ceiling fan in the rooms, it was rather hot (but I enjoyed the open balcony door).

Loved the staff most of all - so attentive and kind. Also the enormous breakfast buffet so full of variety as well as eggs cooked to order at no extra cost. Dinners are wonderful, and priced very low Compared to Germany. I loved the rustic charm, all of the different dining rooms, really feels like you are at home. Annex, where I stayed, features all south-facing rooms with either a terrace or private balcony. I had room 93, spacious, nice sized bathroom with large shower, good selection of English channels on the TV. Nice chair to sit in as well as a small table and chairs, large bed.
