The house is located in short walking distance of the Mellau rope-way bottom terminal. At the end of a skiing day, if there is enough snow you can also ski all the way down to the valley directly to the door of the house You can reach the village center by bus in 5 min for groceries. There are several restaurants that serve regional and high quality Austrian food, that can be reached in a leisurely 15 min walk. The apartment is well suited for a family. Skiing equipment can be rented easily in the sports shop directly at the bottom terminal of the nearby ropeway. The equipment can be easily stored in the basement. Ski boots can be put in the warm heating room in the evening.
I love to be active in the outdoors. Especially hiking and mountaineering in the Alps during summer and alpine ski touring and cross country skiing during winter. For my vacations I often choose quite exotic places to visit. eg. a trip on a ferry to the south of Chile, or a trip on Teslin river in Yukon. I already visited the deserts of north africa in Marocco, Tunesia and Libya. Last year I traveled for 7 month from Europe all the way through Russia to Lake Baikal, Mongolia and back via the Stans through Georgia, Turkey and the balkan countries back to Austria. I like to learn at least the basics of languages to communicate with local people during my travels. I am also passionate about photography. I am working as an business process designer in a headquater of a Doppelmayr Group in Wolfurt. My main task is to translate business process requirements into a working business software solution.
The house is located in short walking distance of the Mellau rope-way bottom terminal. The area is a quiet residential area and some other apartment houses nearby. There is only little local traffic passing by along the street. The village center is in 10 min walking distance.
