There is not much apart from the castle and the area around.
There is not much apart from the castle and the area around. It is enough to stay for one night. Breathtaking views from the castles. Recommend the restaurant ALBA right next to the castle - amazing view and nice chilled out garden area, we had wine, appetizers and dessert and were very happy!

The old bazaar is fantastic, take your time to scroll up and down at least twice. The castle is worth a visit. For those who like to hike, I suggest to visit a Sari Salltik Shrine, which is on a same level as the top of the hill above the city. Be sure to bring enough water with, as it is really hot in summer time! The path is rocky. You can return by road, which takes a bit longer.

Really amazing spot to stay a night or 2. We stayed two and felt extremely welcomed by the family who runs the hotel and restaurant. The rooms are average, but you won’t spend too much time in them considering the location and the view from this place. The location os the castle of Krujë is really nice. The castle area itself deserves a walk around. And, further to Emiliano Rooms, there are some other restaurants. There is also a small bazar area, and the Skanderbeg Museum. Very valuable to have dinner in the terrace, during the sunset.

Kruje castle is perched on a hilltop less than an hour from Tirana. We stayed at Emiliano Rooms and it was simple but perfect. If the weather had been better would have been amazing sitting on the Castle walls watching the sunset with a glass of wine. The Castle itself is really interesting and worth the 500Lek for the Museum.AngelaUnited Kingdom

Kruje is the Albanian national proud, with all the history around and it if worth of visiting the castle hill and bazar. Emiliano apartments offer you the castle-area stay, with all its magic, impressive views and athosphere. Our room was spacious and comfortable as presented. The Emiliano place enables and supports you to enjoy Kruje in full incl. the way up which was a part of the great experience (Those complaing about the special way up to the castle should pay a fine ;.)

The staff was very friendly and available for any request. The ancient rooms had preserved the traditional nature of this city. The view from the veranda showed the castle of the city and the whole rest, it was fantastic. Ample and very good breakfast.
