it has a beautiful view from up in the castle, staff were so friendly and responsive, breakfast was very good.

The view from our room was breathtaking. Room.was very clean, loved the tile in the bathroom. It seems to be common to have an open shower with a floor drain in the middle of the bathroom. Room was small but great to have a family room (one bed for parents, 2 single beds for kids.) You are right inside.the fortress walls, with multiple restaurants and vendors only steps away. Beds firm and comfortable, with deluxe comforters but also good air conditioning, cooling down the small room quickly. Our host welcomed us in person and helped with bags and parking. Delicious breakfast at Temi restaurant across the path.

Opening the door to the guest house entrance we were not prepared for how beautiful it would be. Tucked along a cobblestone street in the castle it is such a peaceful place to stay. As a family of 7 we booked two rooms - both were spotless and comfortable. When booking be sure to understand that the castle is up significantly higher than the town, so you have incredible views, but also a big climb back up if you go into town. The host was quick to answer any questions, provide help, and went out of his way to make sure we had anything we needed...even helping us get back to town to catch a bus. We highly recommend staying here if you are looking for a place inside the castle area of Berat.

Small room, but wonderful location within the castle walls. Also the breakfast at Temi is lovely, you should definitely try their dinner as well. The area is very quiet at night which is great, no music or loud noises. There are some restaurants and shops close by. Our host waited for us at the expected time to help us park the car and walked us to the guest house. Great service!

Room was quiet, clean and comfortable. Free parking is at the Berat Castle parking lot so there is a short uphill walk. Great breakfast at Temi Restaurant next door, they were also kind enough to let us have breakfast early in order for us to make our tour start time.
