It’s inside the castle grounds, very clean, beautiful style, very comfortable. The owner/manager is super nice and gives excellent recommendations for Kruje. Amazing view of the mountains, sea, the village and of course the castle. The castle is particularly beautiful at night and you only get that view from inside the walls.

There is not much apart from the castle and the area around.
There is not much apart from the castle and the area around. It is enough to stay for one night. Breathtaking views from the castles. Recommend the restaurant ALBA right next to the castle - amazing view and nice chilled out garden area, we had wine, appetizers and dessert and were very happy!

The old bazaar is fantastic, take your time to scroll up and down at least twice. The castle is worth a visit. For those who like to hike, I suggest to visit a Sari Salltik Shrine, which is on a same level as the top of the hill above the city. Be sure to bring enough water with, as it is really hot in summer time! The path is rocky. You can return by road, which takes a bit longer.

Really amazing spot to stay a night or 2. We stayed two and felt extremely welcomed by the family who runs the hotel and restaurant. The rooms are average, but you won’t spend too much time in them considering the location and the view from this place. The location os the castle of Krujë is really nice. The castle area itself deserves a walk around. And, further to Emiliano Rooms, there are some other restaurants. There is also a small bazar area, and the Skanderbeg Museum. Very valuable to have dinner in the terrace, during the sunset.

Kruje castle is perched on a hilltop less than an hour from Tirana. We stayed at Emiliano Rooms and it was simple but perfect. If the weather had been better would have been amazing sitting on the Castle walls watching the sunset with a glass of wine. The Castle itself is really interesting and worth the 500Lek for the Museum.AngelaUnited Kingdom

It gave me a good feeling because I could if I wanted to stay only inside the castle walls because I had all the necessary things that I needed(restaurants to eat or drink and also the museum 1 minute away). The hotel was very clean and comfortable, it was also very calm there weren't any loud noises. The host was helpful, he suggested a restaurant to us that had amazing food.

The owner of the hotel is very cordial and concerned about the well being of his guests. Everything in the hotel is very new and very clean. The bathroom contains a bidet which is a real unique feature in Albanian hotels. The location of the hotel is great - the old town and the fortress is just a few walking minutes away. Breakfast is above Albanian standard.
