If we return to Osaka area, we will 100% stay here again. Beds are comfortable, very spacious dorms, kitchen has everything you need to cook, and plenty of bathrooms and showers. Located a 5-minute walk from JR Kobe Station, Hostel Nakamura Kobe offers female-only and mixed dormitory rooms, 24-hour shower rooms, a shared kitchen and a sun terrace. Kosokukobe Station is 4-minute walk, while Shinkaichi Station is a 7-minute walk from the property. The ladies working there are most helpful.

Hostel Yume-Nomad is located under a 5-minute walk from Shinkaichi and Minatogawa subway stations. The hostel offers both private and dormitory-style rooms as well as free WiFi in all areas. Bicycle rental is available at a fee. I stayed in the 4-person dorm, but really, it was more like two 2-people room connected by a shared wall, with a small curtained passage. There were two showers and limited bathrooms, but there was no wait time. The hostel is very close to the subway lines, but it is apparently near the red-light district. I didn't find it unsafe and would probably stay again as it is good value, but this may be something to consider. The staff/host were extremely nice.
