Set in Lerwick, 600 metres from Bain's Beach, Islesburgh House Hostel offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a restaurant. Clean & very well maintained. Self-catering kitchen had everything you need to prepare a meal. Staff were friendly. Kettle, fridge & TV in the room was a bonus. Lift was useful.

The Dolphin Inn Hostel features free bikes, garden, a shared lounge and terrace in Dunbar. More hotel than hostel the common areas are retro cool and comfortable. Everything is clean, clear, and organized. The staff -- especially Tom -- is brilliant. Extremely walkable location;. easy to take a Borders bus to Siccar Point, a major site in geology and the history of science. I would love to return.

L'Acheninver Hostel offre sistemazioni ad Achiltibuie. La struttura gode di una vista sul mare e sulle montagne. The Pod was very comfy, and we liked our stay very much. It is small and yet fully equipped, as described. Nature outdoors is superb. Pay an attention to come "light" as there is not much storage space inside it. Be prepared for the walk to the Pod. Not suitable for people who struggle to walk.

New Town Hall Bunkhouse is offering accommodation in Whithorn. Boasting a shared kitchen, this property also provides guests with a terrace. Guests can enjoy mountain views. The location was amazing …so many walks to do in that area. I got a 7 day bus pass and would take the bus to a spot then walk back along some of the paths and walking ways. The kitchen is absolutely perfect with everything you could need. The hostel is only 3 months old and purpose built as a bunkhouse/hostel.
