Rooms on the High Street is set in Portree, 27 km from Talisker Distillery, and offers free WiFi throughout the property. The hostel has family rooms. I loved the ensuite bathroom with the heated towel rack that dried my wet swimming clothes so quickly. it was exceptionally clean, well stocked for all of your late night tea/coffee or hot chocolate adventures. It is located conveniently to all shops and eateries, and a close walk to the sea. I loved my stay. The owners were lovely.

Portree Youth Hostel is located in Portree’s city centre. This hostel features a shared dining area and a communal lounge. The property is within 300 metres from many shops, bar and restaurants. Very peaceful and quiet place. Very close to the bus stop, from which you can go in every direction. In the kitchen you will find what you need.

Saucy Mary's is a sea view facing hostel located in Kyleakin on the beautiful Isle of Skye close to the Skye Bridge. We offer accommodation for individual travellers, families and groups. Very clean room and bathroom. Unbelievable location, very great place to stay as a base on Isle of Skye. Staff was very friendly, the Scots, Italian and Lithuanian. Didn’t get names but very good workers.

Very big and clean kitchen with dinning hall, where you can cook your own food. Exactly in the town center. Walking distance from shops and super market(Co Op).

Facing the seafront in Kyleakin, Skye Backpackers features barbecue facilities. Among the various facilities are a garden and a shared lounge. Everything was neat and tidy, especially the kitchen. The bed was not as comfy as the one I had last year at Pitlochry Backpackers - this is relevant because they are part of the same organization. Did appreciate having two pillows though as at Pit. The breakfast was a good value at 3.50 sterling

Overlooking Broadford Bay, Broadford Youth Hostel provides easy access to coastal walks on the Isle of Skye and is just 15 miles from the famous Cuillin mountain range. Great view of the water, nice modern kitchen, lounge. Clean bathrooms, very quiet
