Cassis
Au Petit chez Soi is situated on the beachfront in Cassis, 400 metres from Grande Mer and 700 metres from Bestouan. Boasting a shared kitchen, this property also provides guests with a terrace. Rond-Point du Prado Metro Station is 20 km away and Marseille Chanot Exhibition and Convention Centre is 20 km from the hostel. Anne-Marie was a friendly, helpful, welcoming host with lots of information about Calanques National Park and all the beaches in the area. She is a native French speaker but can communicate in English. I couldn’t ask for more from a hostel! The outdoor area is absolutely beautiful and charming, with lots of plants, and places to hang wet clothes. The location is a five minute walk from the center, and the port, and there are restaurants even closer. There is a stove, microwave, fridge, freezer, two communal bathrooms and showers. The property is very quaint but there is lots of space, with only six people per room (there are two rooms total) However, other amenities aren’t plentiful. -no laundry machines, but there is a laundromat right down the street with washers and dryers for roughly €10 - very minimal free breakfast -like many hostels in Europe, you pay a few euros for city tax in cash at the end of your stay -not a party hostel at all but everyone was friendly and had great vibes (which I prefer)

Great location, friendly owner, good breakfast , safe place for my bicycle indoors
Great location, a stone's throw from the beach and directly over a supermarket. Easy access to the efficient and cheap bus network to Aix, the airport or Marseille. Perfect little apartment for a couple or small family. It was excellent to have the chance to catch up on a couple of Netflix series and the Bluetooth speaker was great for my music. Good heating as the visit was in winter.
3rd arrondissement area of Marseille has good transport links and a large variety of bakeries, cafes and bars. The area is welcoming and only a short walk into the centre of Marseille. The hostel was clean and tidy and the host very welcoming. I would definitely stay again. Marseille offers great food, weather museums and great culture.i enjoyed the area and found it safe and appealing
Cheap and great location
Pleasant and small hotel - great location up a modest hill and less than 10 minutes from the harbour - small room but comfortable, dog friendly overlooking a public park with a flock of Peacocks in it ! Great staff and safe parking available outside the hotel, nice breakfast.
Great location close to the city center and the old town. Very good beds with curtains, so you have a bit more privacy than in usual hostels. In general very clean and modern hostel.
It has everything you need for a hostel/budget hotel. Newly built and furnished, clean. Nice kitchen facilities and common areas. Very helpful staff. Great location!
Basic little apartment. A bit rough round the edges as it's an older apartment block. Great location a minute from the beach. Plenty of shops, bars, cafes, bakeries etc within 10 minutes walk. Pharo felt like a nice, safe area to stay in. Great bus service (No. 83) takes you out to the beaches & park at Borely and round to the port and city centre. The 82S bus takes you to the main train station and the airport bus. All very handy. Good budget accommodation for the price. Fridge, hob, microwave, coffee machine etc.
One of the best hostels I've ever been! The bed was comfortable, the breakfast was good and the garden outside was beautiful.. to be a budget friendly option I would say it's amazing
The hostel has a beautiful bar with terrace that's kinda hidden away from the streets outside, and the drinks are pretty cheap. It's a perfect place for hangout and a youth hostel up to its name. Overall a cool place for solo traveller on a short trip.
